The hotel is conveniently located just a short ride from downtown Zurich, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time commuting. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering a great stay overall. My only minor disappointment was leaving behind a blue hoodie in the fitness center—unfortunately, it wasn’t found. That said, this small issue didn’t take away from the excellent experience. With its great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to travelers looking for a quiet yet central base in Zurich.

The hotel was a delightful surprise! Just a 30-minute walk along the scenic riverside from the train station, or only 10 minutes by tram line 4—super convenient. The room was compact but cozy, with thoughtful touches like a kettle, coffee machine, yoga mat, backpack, ironing board, and iron—everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent: a generous buffet featuring scrambled eggs, fresh veggies, fruits, muesli, baked goods, fresh juice, and dried fruit. The only downside? The coffee wasn’t up to par—it lacked flavor. But honestly, the overall experience was fantastic. Umbrellas are available at the entrance, which is a nice extra. I’m so glad we chose this place—highly recommend for anyone visiting Zurich!

The location is absolutely perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the main train station, which makes getting around so convenient. Right next to the station is a Coop supermarket where we picked up groceries and cooked our own meals. The apartment came with a fridge, microwave, and kettle—all very practical. I didn’t quite figure out how to use the induction cooktop, so I brought my own electric pot instead. The microwave, however, was a lifesaver—perfect for roasting sweet potatoes that turned out incredibly delicious! We arrived from the bus terminal and took a shortcut through the Marriott hotel area, which made the walk much quicker. Bonus points for the front desk staff speaking Chinese—great for communication and added peace of mind. Overall, this place offers amazing value and comfort, making it a top pick for travelers who want convenience without the hassle.

Staying at Rigiblick Spa Suites & Studios was an absolute delight, especially for the second time. The self-check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and getting our room key was quick and easy. The room itself is beautifully designed with a small kitchenette—perfect for light meals or snacks. The bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub, which was a nice touch after a long day. The bed, however, is on the narrower side at 160 cm wide—slightly tight for two guests sharing it. That said, the views over Lake Zurich are absolutely stunning, especially in the evening when the sun dips behind the hills. The hotel’s location is ideal—quiet yet well-connected by public transport. Plus, the fridge and complimentary beverages are generously stocked and included in the room rate, which adds great value. The theater nearby is a bonus for culture lovers. Overall, this stay was exceptional and I’d definitely return.

There's a great Chinese restaurant just downstairs, and nearby is the tram stop leading directly to ETH Zurich—perfect for students or professionals. I especially loved the free mini-bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot drinks, which made winter stays even more cozy. The hotel itself is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. It’s rare to find such a high-quality stay with so much convenience and comfort in one place. Definitely going back.

We stayed at Gästehaus Hunziker for two nights and, to be honest, we didn’t realize how far it was from the center of Zurich at first. But despite our initial concerns, getting there by Switzerland’s incredibly efficient and frequent public transport was surprisingly quick and stress-free. Breakfast is served at a small local café connected directly to the hotel, just in front of reception—simple setup, not buffet-style with limited options, but still satisfying. That said, considering Zurich’s high prices, this place offers solid value for money. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and refreshingly TV-free—perfect if you want to disconnect. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely warm. Their hospitality made a big difference. Even though it’s a bit outside the city center, we’d definitely consider returning. Great choice for travelers who prioritize comfort, cleanliness, and a friendly vibe.
