I stayed here as a solo traveler and chose the single room, which was excellent both times I’ve visited—both trips were specifically for appointments at the nearby hospital. The facilities are well-maintained and surprisingly clean for a shared-style accommodation. The mattress and bedding were comfortable, and the curtain by the bed provided good privacy when closed. There’s also a built-in washing machine under the sink—very handy for laundry needs. One small suggestion: adding a non-slip mat just outside the bathroom door would make things safer, as water tends to pool after showers. Without personal slippers, wearing disposable ones can be slippery and potentially hazardous. Service was outstanding—any request was met with prompt help. After surgery, I had limited mobility, so the staff kindly arranged a lower bunk bed for me, which made a big difference. Free bottled water and basic toiletries were readily available upon request, and the team—front desk staff and manager alike—were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I stayed at Huashi Hotel while attending a recruitment exam at South China Normal University, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and stress-free. With a checkout time until 2:00 PM, it was ideal for those on a tight schedule like me. I was assigned to the 12th floor, facing the inner campus area—quiet and peaceful, with only minor construction noise from time to time, but nothing disruptive. Overall, the comfort, convenience, and value made this stay truly enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it and will return if I’m back in Guangzhou.
