I did notice that the room service forgot to include a toothbrush and there was only one shower cap in the bathroom, but since we brought our own, it wasn’t an issue. What really impressed me was how close we were to Chinatown—so many amazing Chinese and Asian restaurants, especially lively on Friday nights and weekends. That said, the other side of the city gets super quiet after 7:30 PM if you prefer a peaceful evening. Overall, I’d definitely consider staying here again, particularly because of the excellent breakfast. It made the whole stay feel even more worthwhile.

The private room was spacious, well-equipped with a kettle, mugs, and complimentary tea and coffee supplies. There’s a $10 refundable deposit for dining sets, which is fair considering the quality. One small downside: Wi-Fi is only available in common areas, so no internet in the room. But the staff more than make up for it—they’re friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations. We followed their advice to book a ferry to Rottnest Island to see the quokkas, and they even arranged pickup and drop-off, making the whole experience seamless. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked, so preparing your own meals is easy and enjoyable. Overall, this place offers excellent value, a welcoming vibe, and a great base for exploring Perth.
