However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it. So definitely specify ‘riverside view’ when booking. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value with its location, service, and comfort—highly recommend for travelers visiting Wuhan.

The name says it all—the ambiance is elegant, refined, and warmly inviting, blending sophistication with comfort. The room layout is smart, the furnishings high-quality, and the view from the window opens up to the heartbeat of the city. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. A friendly front-desk attendant not only helped carry my luggage upstairs but also patiently re-arranged my room to one I was truly happy with. Even better, welcome fruits and a little pack of monkey head mushroom cookies were waiting in my room—a sweet touch that made me smile. The next day, after running errands until 3 PM, I returned exhausted, only to find my phone dead and unable to check in due to a queue at the front desk. I was frustrated and drained, just wanting to collapse into my room. Then I noticed a calm, clear-eyed staff member—later learned to be the assistant manager, Xiao Li—who kindly listened to my situation. Without hesitation, he arranged a solution through several calls, allowing me to enter my room ahead of time. That kind of proactive, genuine care—so rare these days—left me genuinely touched.
