We mostly relied on Didi for transportation during our trip, which was both affordable and efficient. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had no unpleasant odors—very comfortable overall. One small suggestion: the bathroom floor is quite cold and slippery; adding non-slip slippers would make it even better. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—they answered all my questions promptly and even offered to hold packages for us. Their warm hospitality really made the stay memorable. This hotel offers outstanding value and service, making it a top choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Chengdu.

Around the hotel, there are countless great dining spots and local shops, making it super easy to explore on foot. What really stood out? The service. Our front desk supervisor, Xiao Liao, was incredibly warm, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast, and she went above and beyond to help with any request—always with a genuine smile. Her attention to detail and kindness made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The housekeeping staff, Auntie Hu Su Rong, also left a lasting impression. Every day, the room was cleaned meticulously—no corner overlooked—and her care showed in how everything was neatly arranged, even small items that had been misplaced. The room itself is fantastic: spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with a private balcony, kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, and even a washing machine. It felt like staying in a home away from home. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom featured effective dry/wet separation, water pressure was strong, and hot water came instantly. The air conditioning ran quietly, and the soundproofing kept the room peaceful—even with city sounds outside. Everything was well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and refined. Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Wuhou
We arrived late last night and realized we'd ended up at the wrong location—we'd originally booked the Holiday Inn Express in San Sheng Xiang, but Google Maps led us straight to this one in Wuhou District. Thankfully, contacting the platform right away resulted in a no-questions-asked free cancellation. That was a huge relief. Then I must say, the Wuhou branch itself is excellent—clean, well-maintained, and staff are genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout to Amy during check-out; she was warm, efficient, and made our departure smooth. And bonus: the street-side dan dan noodles just outside the hotel? Absolutely delicious—spicy, savory, and totally worth a stop. If you're in the area, don’t miss it. This place is a hidden gem with great value and top-notch service.
