Staying at Millennium Hotel Chengdu (South Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The room I booked was a scenic view room with plenty of space, and the view across the street to Xianshentree Park was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning light or evening city views. I understand safety concerns due to the high floor level, but allowing a small opening would be much more practical than having no airflow at all. The staff were excellent—especially the concierge who helped me collect my package, saving me a lot of time. For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.
