Shangri-La Singapore
The hotel is a bit tucked away, requiring a short climb to reach, but that’s part of its charm—peaceful and quiet, far from the city buzz. Our kids absolutely loved the pool, spending nearly the entire morning splashing around in the hot tub and playing with the fountains. The sofa bed in the room made it feel instantly like a family suite—super comfortable and spacious. It was also the first time our child slept alone in a room, marking a small but meaningful step toward independence. We booked through a platform, and the rate was great for the quality. This was our third stay in Singapore, and Shangri-La stood out for its excellent Chinese-speaking service—many staff members were fluent in Mandarin, making communication easy and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional—huge variety, delicious options from all around the world, and every bite was satisfying. A highlight was the nearby Italian restaurant Trapizza—authentic, well-prepared pizza with a perfect crust and rich flavors. It’s definitely worth a visit. The only minor downside was the check-in queue, which took a bit longer than expected, but the staff were friendly and efficient despite the wait. Overall, this hotel delivers an outstanding value and unforgettable stay. I’d gladly come back again.

Being just steps away from the Shangri-La Hotel meant we could easily enjoy dining or heading to the fitness center without needing to travel far. The private pool is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing after a long day. With excellent location, top-notch amenities, and genuine hospitality, this place offers incredible value. A small suggestion: more coffee pods and tea options would be great—there were only four of each, so we had to keep calling for refills. Other than that, everything was excellent.
