Saikai Hotel
Staying at Saikai Hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spacious and comfortably furnished, making it feel more like a home away from home. Located right in the heart of Guilin, it's incredibly convenient for visiting major attractions like Li River, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Elephant Trunk Hill—most places are just 4 or 5 bus stops away. The hotel is directly across from a large shopping mall, so dining and shopping are super easy. There’s a parking lot on-site, though it’s on the smaller side, but well-managed with staff directing traffic—no hassle at all. For under $15 USD per night, the value is outstanding. Clean, quiet, and perfectly located—this is a gem that delivers far beyond its price point. I’ll definitely be returning.

The room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. Staff were warm and helpful, adding a personal touch to the experience. It’s rare to find such a peaceful yet centrally located hotel in Guilin. I highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting—perfect blend of tranquility, convenience, and charm.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. The cleanliness is outstanding—every corner of the room felt spotless, and it’s clear they take hygiene seriously. The location is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect escape from city noise. It’s conveniently close to Shida University, and I found it easy to get around by metro or on foot. The quiet, serene environment made for a relaxing and restful stay. With great value for money and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guilin who wants a calm, comfortable base. Definitely planning to come back!

I booked this hotel after seeing it online, and I’m so glad I did! The bedding was incredibly clean and comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. What really stood out was the incredible value for money; it felt like staying in a much higher-end property without the price tag. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Qixing Park and the University of Technology, and super convenient for reaching downtown attractions. When we asked for an extra pillow, the front desk staff immediately accommodated us with a smile—so attentive and friendly! This place truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. If you're visiting Guilin, this is my top recommendation. A fantastic stay all around!
Rui Yun Hotel (Guilin Qixing Park Two Rivers And Four Lakes)
Stayed in December 2024 – Comfortable Queen Room | Rating: 10/10 The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Qixing Park and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area, making it super convenient for exploring. The hotel has a well-maintained elevator, which made moving around easy, especially with luggage. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional—always smiling, patient, and happy to answer questions. They even gave helpful tips about nearby attractions. My room had an amazing view of the river, and the photo I took from the window (photo #4) truly captures the peaceful scenery. If you look at photo #1 taken from the riverside, the tallest, brightest building is our hotel—perfectly situated between the hills and the water. It’s such a serene, scenic spot. As we checked out, they even wished us safe travels and a wonderful journey ahead—small touches that really stand out. This place offers incredible value for money. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.

Prices did go up during the May Festival holiday, but honestly, the quality of the rooms, the tech, and the location make it worth every penny. If you're into gaming and want a hassle-free stay in Guilin, this place delivers. I’d definitely come back.

This is my third time staying at this hostel, and every visit just gets better. This time, they upgraded everything—brand-new beds, fresh bedding, and a more comfortable mattress. I slept so well it felt like I was floating! The hostess, Chui, still keeps the place spotless every single day—cleanliness isn’t an afterthought here. What really made this trip unforgettable was the surprise camping trip organized by the owner. The location was stunning, surrounded by nature with a peaceful vibe. We had so much fun, bonded with new friends, and even celebrated New Year together—such a warm, genuine experience. On the second day, I unexpectedly ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in half a year—almost like fate brought us back together. It felt magical. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, this place truly delivers. If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming stay in Guilin, this is it. Highly recommended—I’ll be back!
