The entire property was beautifully decorated with a festive Christmas vibe that added such warmth to our stay. The room itself was spotless and immaculately clean—hygiene was never a concern. When I went to use the self-service laundry the next day, it was already full. Instead of waiting, the staff member kindly offered me a spot and even took care of the laundry for me. When it was done, my clothes were returned neatly folded and packed—such a thoughtful touch! The service was incredibly prompt and genuinely welcoming. As a food lover, I was thrilled by the dining options: breakfast featured fresh, crisp ice lettuce—my absolute favorite. Lunch and dinner offered creative, locally inspired dishes with excellent flavor and presentation. Every meal felt special. This was my second visit to Osmanthus Tree Resort & Spa, and I’m already planning my next stay. The first time I stayed in a twin room—spacious and comfortable—and this time I accidentally booked the wrong room type. I reached out to the front desk, and the staff member immediately stepped in, consulted with management, and upgraded me to the same twin room at no extra cost. That kind of service is rare and truly impressive. The facilities are top-notch, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the attention to detail made all the difference. My kids had a blast exploring the space and even asked if we could stay longer. Everything—from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches—makes me want to come back again. Li River Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Scenic Spot)

The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Star Park, West-East Street, Jingjiang Prince's Mansion, Renyang Pedestrian Street, the Sun and Moon Twin Towers, and the Shanghu Lake. From the room, you can enjoy stunning views of the lake, especially at night when the lights come on—it’s breathtaking. After dinner, we loved strolling along the lakeside path; it’s such a peaceful way to unwind. The breakfast was simple but satisfying—good quality and tasty options. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious local flavors and well-prepared dishes. Staff were attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I’d definitely book here again next time I visit Guilin.

Shangri-La Guilin

Staying at Shangri-La Guilin was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guest host Emily went above and beyond—she reached out in advance to learn about our preferences and even prepared thoughtful little amenities for our child. The housekeeping staff, Jongche, was incredibly attentive, personally escorting us to our room and giving a detailed walk-through of the hotel’s facilities with genuine warmth. The room itself beautifully blends modern comfort with traditional northern Guangxi charm—our bed was so cozy we slept like babies all night. But the real highlight? The evening view: as dusk fell, the river lights gently lit up the scene outside our window, turning the Li River into a shimmering canvas. Absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

Boyin Yinianjian Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers And Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill)

The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options and delicious flavors, keeping me happy each morning. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just steps away from East-West Lane and the scenic Two Rivers and Four Lakes area. Walking around town for shopping, dining, or snapping photos was effortless. It’s rare to find a hotel that feels this welcoming and thoughtful. This is more than just accommodation—it’s a place with heart. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Mei, was incredibly helpful and professional. She answered every question about parking, dining, and nearby attractions clearly and efficiently, showing real dedication to guest satisfaction. As soon as we arrived, a staff member greeted us at the door, opened the car door, and helped with our luggage—such thoughtful hospitality! It’s clear this team goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. I’ll definitely be returning.

It’s not a bright, modern space; instead, it has a beautifully aged, authentic feel—like stepping into a real old-world residence. I took some photos and shared them online, and friends immediately asked when they could come for a traditional qipao photo session. Yes, the aesthetic isn’t for everyone, but considering the price point, the spacious rooms, warm service, and unique character make this a truly memorable stay. If you’re looking for something different from the typical chain hotel, this is absolutely worth a visit.
