Staying at this cozy apartment in Dalian was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had on a trip. From sunrise to snow-covered views, every moment felt like a scene from a dreamy film. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Heishijiao Metro Station (Line 1), making it super easy to reach whether you're coming from the train station or airport. And the neighborhood? A food lover’s paradise. There are McDonald’s and Yahuai Food right downstairs, plus a variety of local favorites within walking distance—especially that over-the-top affordable bowl of cross-bridge rice noodles (only $1.30!) with rich meat sauce that left me full and happy. If you don’t feel like cooking or going out, delivery options are just a tap away—total convenience.
But the real star? The view. Floor-to-ceiling windows open up to breathtaking sea vistas—the Xinghai Bay Bridge stretching across the water, sky meeting sea in endless blue. On the day we arrived, Dalian was blanketed in fresh snow. Waking up to a world covered in white, trees and rooftops dusted with frost, and the bridge fading into mist under soft sunlight—it felt like stepping into a fairy tale. Whether it’s morning sunrises, golden afternoons by the sea, or evening city lights, each moment is worth savoring.
Inside, the room blends modern minimalism with warm touches—light wood floors, soft ambient lighting, and a clean, spacious layout. Perfect for friends or small families. Every detail feels intentional: a washer-dryer with a transparent window so you can check laundry progress anytime, a compact fridge, electric kettle, Bluetooth speaker—all there. Even the little gold ‘HCK’ logo on the fridge adds a vintage charm. Bathrooms are smartly designed with two separate facilities—one with a toilet and sink combo, another dedicated shower area. Plus, a dual-height vanity makes it easy for kids and adults to use together. Everything is neatly arranged, and high-quality toiletries are thoughtfully provided.
The highlight? The freestanding acrylic bathtub. After a long day exploring, soaking in hot water while gazing out at the ocean or snowy landscape was pure bliss. Just ask for a disposable bath bag if needed—it’s all part of the comfort.
And then there’s the fun details: the colorful graffiti horse in the room? Instant photo op. Turn off the lights, and the ceiling transforms into a twinkling galaxy—real stars above your head. It’s magical.
The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the seaside, which made winter tide-pooling an absolute joy. The owner even provides free tools—no need to buy anything! Kids had a blast digging for shellfish, feeding seagulls (bring some biscuits or sausages from the nearby Lekaha Supermarket—they’re cheaper than street vendors!), and just enjoying the raw beauty of nature.
Overall, the value here is unbeatable. For the price, you get prime location, stunning views, top-tier comfort, and unique little touches that make it feel like home. Ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy both sea and snow in winter—this place delivers both in style. I’d absolutely come back, especially if you can book a higher-floor unit for an even wider panorama.
Big shoutout to the friendly staff—especially Xiao Sun, and the passionate owners Han and Zhao. Their warmth and attention to detail truly made the stay unforgettable.
