After four years of visiting, our love affair with Pineapple Point Guesthouse & Resort—and especially the amazing team—has only grown stronger. This trip was flawless: eight dreamy days soaking in lush greenery, relaxing in perfectly clean rooms, enjoying little thoughtful touches like fresh towels, chocolate-dipped pineapples, and ice cream. The nightly free happy hour was a highlight—perfect for unwinding and connecting with fellow guests in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Special thanks to Tim for his always-smiling hospitality and to owner Judd, whose dedication to both the property’s beautiful landscaping and guest comfort truly brightens every stay. We’re already counting down to next year—can’t wait to return!
Bali Hai Motel
I had a fantastic stay at Bali Hai Motel! The property has recently been updated under new ownership, and it shows—everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Several rooms have been remodeled with modern touches, and mine was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. I especially appreciated the small kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, which made self-catering easy and convenient. The bed was incredibly comfy, and I slept like a baby throughout the night. The outdoor patio is a nice little retreat—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or enjoying the breeze. Located just minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale, it’s ideal if you want to explore local attractions, restaurants, and beaches without the hassle of long commutes. Plus, the price is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, an excellent value and a great place to stay—highly recommend!

We stayed for just two nights, but the villa exceeded our expectations based on the photos and pleasantly surprised us with its neighborhood location. Everything was clean and in working order, making the stay very comfortable. The host was attentive and provided clear, helpful access instructions. The only minor note is that the dining table is a bit small and located directly under the air vent, so it can get a bit chilly during meals. However, this tiny detail didn’t affect our overall experience at all. The property offers great value and we’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a quiet, well-maintained retreat in Fort Lauderdale.

The staff were responsive and clear in communication throughout the booking and check-in process, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The place was clean, quiet, and well-located, making it a convenient option for a short stay. The kitchen and living area were spacious and functional, with a TV for entertainment—perfect for relaxing after a long day. However, the mattress was extremely soft and had noticeable sagging, almost like sleeping on a hammock. There were no coil springs—just visible, worn-out springs that made the bed feel unstable and uncomfortable. I actually considered staying longer, but the poor mattress caused back pain by morning. If you're not sensitive to bedding quality, this could work out fine. But if comfort is a priority, you might want to reconsider. Overall, decent for the price, but the mattress really holds it back.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from Matthew, Tom, Jim, and owner David, who are always ready to help make your experience unforgettable. The lush tropical courtyard is pure paradise, and the inviting pool area is perfect for relaxing after a day out. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a full-sized fridge and all the essentials. Everything was spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. We booked this condo for a girls' birthday sleepover with five of us, and it was absolutely perfect! He even shared some great local food recommendations without us even asking—such a thoughtful touch! The location was convenient, quiet, and felt like our own little getaway. The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the airport and incredibly convenient for travelers on a tight schedule. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with tasteful modern decor. I appreciated having an ironing board in the room, which made packing and unpacking much easier. The bathroom was large and well-appointed, featuring Dove toiletries—small touches that make a big difference. Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options and fresh flavors. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the shuttle service—it wasn’t very reliable. We had to call reception directly to arrange pickup, and the return shuttle didn’t start until 8 AM, which was too late if you landed earlier. That said, it’s easy to find alternative transportation nearby. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for travelers flying into Fort Lauderdale Airport.
