My stay at Hotel Riverview Taipei was absolutely enjoyable from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—every interaction felt genuine and welcoming, making me feel right at home. While some of the furnishings show a bit of age and could use a refresh, everything still functions well and remains comfortable for everyday use. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and all essentials were in good condition. With just a little upgrade on the room equipment—especially in the bathroom and electronics—the experience would be even more outstanding. As it stands, this is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for a quiet, clean, and well-located hotel in Taipei. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in town again.

The room was modern, clean, and well-equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. In the lobby, there's a convenient self-service station offering free cold and hot water, coffee, tea, chilled drinks, snacks, plus a microwave and mini oven—perfect for whipping up a quick meal when you're craving something warm. The only minor downsides are the limited closet space if you're staying multiple days, and some nighttime noise from passing cars and motorcycles since the room is on the third floor with windows open. But honestly, these small issues didn't detract from the great value and vibe of the hotel. I’d definitely book again without hesitation.

The area is lively with nearby shopping spots and a bustling night market, and there are two convenience stores right across the street—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. The lobby is welcoming, with complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day, and the front desk staff is on duty 24/7, which adds a real sense of security. My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed—especially the TV that can swivel both ways, which made it easy to adjust the viewing angle whether lying in bed or sitting on the sofa. I specifically asked for a higher floor during check-in, and it made a noticeable difference: quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a restful sleep. Inside the room, I appreciated the thoughtful touches—two bottles of mineral water, a variety of tea bags, an electric kettle, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was especially impressive: spacious, fully separated into dry and wet zones, and featured a relaxing bathtub. They even provided a bathrobe—small detail, big comfort. I didn’t use the hotel’s Wi-Fi, but breakfast was served downstairs.
