Staying at Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach was a pleasant surprise—despite the 7-minute walk to the beach, the journey is scenic and worth it. The free island shuttle service made getting around effortless, just like having your own private transport. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with local favorites that added a true island flavor. The large pool area offers great relaxation, and having a 7even convenience store on-site means you can grab essentials anytime. Evenings at the beach are lively with casual bars popping up, and the cleanliness is impressive—staff keep the sand spotless throughout the day. That said, the rooms are quite compact; luggage barely fits, especially if you’re traveling with more than one bag. When the air conditioning isn’t working, the floor gets damp and slippery, almost like stepping into a sauna. The shower space is extremely tight—there’s barely room for toiletries beside the showerhead. Still, for the price and location, this hotel delivers solid value, especially if you prioritize beach access and convenience over spacious interiors. A great choice for a laid-back island getaway.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room at Paradise Garden Resort, and it was absolutely worth it! The space was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and my mom and I had plenty of room—no cramped feeling at all. The location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk to the beach, and right next to the main pool area. Free Wi-Fi was available throughout, and the room had a subtle vanilla scent that made it feel extra relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—the moment we arrived, they offered us refreshing welcome drinks. One thing to note: there’s only one power outlet in the room, located near the bathroom, which makes remote work a bit tricky. Also, no hair dryer was provided (though you can request one). We had to pay a 2,000 PHP deposit upfront—lucky I brought cash, otherwise it would’ve been awkward. Still, overall, this resort delivers great value for money. With its beautiful setting, warm hospitality, and peaceful vibe, I’d definitely come back. 9 out of 10!

Rooms are compact but spotlessly clean, and I didn’t see a single insect during my entire stay—big plus for peace of mind. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a sweet surprise: a basket of fresh fruits and little gifts that instantly set a warm, welcoming tone. The private beach is well-maintained and staff go above and beyond—the warm towel offered after a dip in the sea on a windy day was pure bliss. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service anywhere. Kids had a blast too—there’s a dedicated sandbox area with shovels and buckets, plus an indoor game room with table tennis, football, hockey, and even a gaming console with discs and joysticks. Evenings were fun and hassle-free for the whole family. Breakfast was decent but could use a little upgrade—adding a quality coffee machine would have taken this place from great to flawless. Overall, the attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and serene atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We left with full hearts and already planning to return.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit—always smiling, always ready to assist. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. The overall experience was outstanding, and the value for money is excellent. I’d definitely come back again—this place truly stands out.

Casa Pilar Beach Resort
This resort completely exceeded our expectations! Among all the hotels we've stayed at in the Philippines, Casa Pilar Beach Resort stands out as the absolute best. We were checked in 1.5 hours early and given a room right by the beach—our first impression was pure wow. Just step outside and you're on the sand. However, we later learned that the first ten rooms are not only close to the beach but also near the on-site restaurant, which stays open until 2 AM with live music. If you love nightlife and late-night vibes, these rooms are perfect for you. But since we preferred a quieter evening, we simply asked to be moved—and they accommodated us without any hassle, even upgrading us to a three-person room. The photos show older rooms with brown furniture and newer ones with light-colored furnishings, but both are spotless and impeccably clean. Every room comes with a large umbrella, and you can rent a big beach towel for just 50 pesos—super convenient. The location is unbeatable: front-row beach access at the third boat station, where there were absolutely no seaweed (unlike Station 2, which had lots, or Station 1, which had a little). The property itself is lush and beautifully landscaped—plenty of greenery, shaded benches, and cool spots to relax. There’s even a warm pool, so you can enjoy the beach while feeling like you’re deep in the jungle. It’s such a unique blend of tropical paradise and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful yet vibrant beach getaway.
