The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved having a variety of teas available whenever we wanted a cozy moment. As a history enthusiast, I was amazed by how much character and local stories this place holds—Eszter, the host, is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share fascinating details about the building and its past. It’s rare to find such charm and authenticity in a modern city setting. We had a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, warm, and memorable experience in Budapest.

The front desk is located in one building, while the guest rooms are in another—so if you're relying on GPS, be aware that it might direct you to the wrong entrance. There’s not a very clear sign indicating where reception is, so double-check your directions before heading over. Once I found the right building, everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained—perfect for a quick but comfortable stopover. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet, convenient base in central Budapest with a warm, home-like feel.

I planned a surprise birthday getaway to Budapest for my partner, and choosing the Downtown Boutique Suite was an easy decision—its modern vibe and unbeatable location stood out. From arrival to departure, every moment was exceptional. The staff, Dora and Zsolt, went above and beyond: they arranged a lovely birthday setup with wine, and even brought us a fan when the air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough. The neighborhood is fantastic—just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and local gems. Getting around is hassle-free too; we used Bolt for affordable rides, or took the train from the thermal baths and castle area. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and fully equipped for cooking at home if you wanted to stay in. Budapest delivers incredible value for a city break, and this stay was among the best we’ve ever had. Huge thanks to the team—Jamie & Shannon will remember this trip forever!

Second time staying at Corvin Plaza Apartments & Suites, and it’s still a solid choice! To start with, the property is split across two buildings with a street in between—though both units are very similar in quality and comfort. The location is excellent, right in Budapest’s Corvin district. Bus and tram stops are just steps away, and you’re only a 10-minute walk from the lively town square packed with restaurants, bars, and local vibes. There’s even a Spar supermarket right across the road—perfect for quick snacks or essentials. The accommodation has always been clean, well-maintained, and cozy. Front desk staff are available 24/7 if you need anything, which is great. That said, the front desk is quite small, so if multiple guests check in at once, the wait can be longer than expected. Even though other team members are around, they don’t seem inclined to help speed things up. One thing to note: during summer months, air conditioning is only available in the living area—not in the main bedroom—and it comes at an extra charge. On the bright side, luggage storage is available if you arrive early or want to leave later after check-out. This makes it easy to explore the city without carrying your bags around. Overall, the convenience, cleanliness, and central location make this a great option, especially for travelers who value flexibility and local access.
