We had a wonderful stay at Walk Inn Váci 78! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered plenty of complimentary refreshments—great touch for guests. While the free in-room Wi-Fi wasn’t very stable and occasionally dropped connection, it didn’t detract from our overall experience. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from major attractions and public transit, making it ideal for families or travelers who want convenience without the hassle. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. Despite the minor Wi-Fi issue, we’d definitely recommend this place and plan to stay here again on our next trip to Budapest.

Staying at Maverick Apartments was an absolute delight. The property is housed in a beautifully preserved late 1800s building with soaring 5-meter ceilings that give the space a grand, airy feel. While some areas could use a refresh, everything worked perfectly—especially the well-equipped kitchen, which had all the essentials for cooking. Located just a 2-minute walk from the Danube River and within easy reach of shopping spots, it’s ideal for travelers who want both convenience and character. The combination of historic charm, spacious interiors, and unbeatable location makes this a standout choice. Highly recommended!

Staying at Omega Guesthouse Budapest was an absolute delight! The price is incredibly affordable, and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the city center and major attractions. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and friendly service. I mentioned I wasn’t fond of air fresheners, and they immediately adjusted without hesitation—such thoughtful attention to detail. On day three, I noticed the water dispenser downstairs had broken, but since I was out exploring, I didn’t realize it until my return. To my surprise, there was a full bottle of water left on the desk—no need to buy one, even though I already brought my own. It was such a sweet gesture that really made my stay feel special. Oh, and they even helped me squash a mosquito in the room—small things, but definitely memorable. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. 10/10, highly recommend!

The location of Budapest Rooms Bed and Breakfast is definitely a strong point—just an 8- to 10-minute walk from two metro stops, and right next to the Bus 100E stop at Kalvin tér, which runs directly to and from the airport. There’s also a small but convenient supermarket just 30 meters away for quick essentials. The room size and bathroom are average—could use a bit more space, and a proper bidet would be a nice upgrade. The kitchenette is very handy for brewing afternoon tea or a relaxing evening herbal drink. The beds were comfortable, and I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage on-site after check-out, especially since my return flight wasn’t until 8 PM—no need to carry bags around all day. When I arrived late due to a night flight from Rome, the hotel kindly arranged a secure lockbox outside the entrance where I received my keys. Instructions were sent in advance via email, making the process smooth and stress-free. However, breakfast was disappointing. The sweet selection consisted of only two types of jam—no pastries, cakes, or biscuits at all. If you’re expecting a proper breakfast spread with desserts, you’ll be let down. The savory side had ham, one type of cheese, boxed bread, and slightly stale, chewy sandwiches (which felt like leftovers). Hygiene concerns stood out too: milk and orange juice were served in large open jugs without lids, and on the second morning, I found a noticeable hair floating in the milk—definitely not ideal. Only eight seats are available for breakfast, so if multiple guests show up at once, you may have to wait or eat while anxious about clearing the table. The kettle also needs descaling—there’s visible lime buildup inside. Room organization was another issue. We hung our towels on wall hooks and the bathroom radiator to avoid confusion, but after housekeeping cleaned the room, they were moved around, making it impossible to tell whose towel was whose. The duvets are extremely minimal—anyone over 1.8 meters tall will likely end up with their feet exposed when tucking in. Cleaning standards left much to be desired. I placed my suitcase on the top shelf of the sliding wardrobe and was greeted by a thick layer of dust when retrieving it—clearly untouched for weeks. Same goes for the pile blanket stored on that shelf; I’m glad I didn’t use it, or I’d have risked a serious allergic reaction. Lastly, payment required full prepayment, but no receipt was ever issued—something that feels unprofessional and lacks transparency.

This budget-friendly gem in Budapest completely exceeded my expectations! Despite its modest price point, the Black Sheep Budapest Smart Rooms deliver a surprisingly high-quality stay. The rooms are sleek and modern, with smart features like app-controlled lighting and climate settings—super convenient and futuristic. Located just a short walk from public transit, I was exploring downtown attractions within minutes of arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even welcomed me with a small thoughtful gift. It’s rare to find such comfort and convenience at this price—definitely a top pick for travelers on a budget who don’t want to compromise.

The Budapest Panorama Central is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the service is warm and efficient, and the room itself is spotless and well-designed. The bathroom is clean and modern—everything about the place feels thoughtfully put together. It’s located on the opposite side of the reception, which is a minor inconvenience but totally worth it for such a great stay. The proximity to the airport bus stop is a game-changer—super convenient for early flights or late arrivals. With excellent value, top-notch comfort, and a prime location, this hotel earns every single point. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

Staying at Ibis Budapest Castle Hill was an absolute highlight of my trip to Budapest. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Fisherman's Bastion and other top attractions, and the metro station is literally right around the corner, making it super easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a smile. I appreciated how convenient it was to order food delivery straight to my room—affordable prices and great variety. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value. If you're visiting Budapest and want a central, hassle-free stay, this is definitely a top pick. Highly recommended!

Initially, I was misled by the Google Maps navigation since there were two similar locations listed. However, once I arrived, the hotel provided clear directions and made the check-in process smooth. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable—perfect for a business trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is ideal: just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to get around Budapest. With its great value and convenient access, I’d definitely book here again if I’m back in the city for work.

My stay at the Barceló Budapest was absolutely excellent. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from multiple public transport options, making it super easy to explore the city. The hotel’s interior design is sleek and modern, with a clean, inviting atmosphere throughout. My room was spacious, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, especially the bed—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully arranged. If you're visiting Budapest, this is definitely a top choice. Budapest is absolutely magical, and I can't thank Stories Hotel enough for such an unforgettable stay! The moment you step inside, you're instantly immersed in the vibrant energy of the city—lush greenery, lively atmosphere, and a true sense of place. What truly impressed me was the incredible soundproofing in the rooms; it felt like a peaceful retreat even in the heart of the bustling city. Breakfast at K26? Pure bliss—everyone wants to come here, but lucky for us, we’re staying right on-site, so all we have to do is walk downstairs and grab our favorite table. Spacious, stylish rooms with a warm welcome that included champagne—such a thoughtful touch.
