Tivoli Lagos is a true gem nestled in the heart of Lagos, Portugal. The property boasts a spacious, lush garden that instantly makes you feel at peace—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The room was generously sized with a private terrace overlooking the greenery, making morning coffee or an evening drink truly special. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, offering great value for money. If driving, the free on-site parking is a big plus, though underground parking costs €8 per day—a small downside. My only concerns were the somewhat reserved front desk staff, who lacked warmth in their service, and the fact that accessing the room requires navigating several steps from the lobby—something that could be challenging with heavy luggage. Overall, the hotel shines in its architecture, ambiance, and natural setting, but there’s room to improve guest experience through more attentive service and better accessibility.

The stay at this property had a few bright spots but also some serious drawbacks. The saltwater pool was a real highlight—refreshing and well-maintained, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Room sizes were just right, the fans worked extremely well, and surprisingly, the beds were very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. Free parking on-site was a nice bonus, especially if you're traveling by car. However, the biggest issue was the lack of basic supplies in the apartment—no sponges, cleaning cloths, dish soap, kitchen paper, napkins, hand soap, salt, sugar, or even a mop. You’re basically expected to run to the supermarket to buy essentials just to cook a simple meal or do basic cleaning, even if you’re only staying for a few days. That’s incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. To make matters worse, there are no windows—only sliding doors—so proper ventilation is impossible. The air stays stuffy and humid, especially during warmer weather, which really affects comfort. While the pool and bed were decent, the overall experience is heavily impacted by these fundamental oversights. It's hard to recommend when such basic needs aren’t met.

This place is such a hidden gem! The property is quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful pool that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day. The room was clean, stylish, and well-equipped with a safe, mini-fridge, and microwave—super convenient for self-catering. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the city center, but the location is still very accessible, and we found it easy to get around by car or taxi. Host João was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. His breakfast was incredible: fresh, delicious, and made with care. We highly recommend this stay and are already planning our next visit. Thank you, João, for such a memorable experience!

The bed struck the perfect balance between firm and soft—ideal for a good night's sleep. Each room came equipped with a mini-fridge, kettle, and basic kitchenware like mugs and glasses, which was super convenient. There’s also an outdoor communal kitchen with appliances and a large table, making it easy to prepare meals or enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors. One small note: we would’ve appreciated having more cutlery on hand, so bringing your own utensils is a good idea. The host was incredibly welcoming and even met us personally in the evening—such a thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable: right next to the beautiful Meia Praia beach, with a charming 15-minute walk along a scenic wooden pathway. If you prefer not to walk, there’s a bus stop nearby. Overall, this place exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return—highly recommend!

Staying at A40 - Castle Arch Apartment was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lagos, with pubs, shops, restaurants, and museums just steps away. I even managed to wash and dry all my holiday clothes the night before heading home, which was incredibly convenient. Public transportation options are also very accessible, making it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside is a karaoke bar located five doors down that stays open until 2 AM on weekends—some noise can be heard late at night. However, this didn’t significantly impact my stay, especially considering the great value, cleanliness, and comfort of the apartment. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a central, well-equipped base in Lagos.

Since the property is small-scale, you’ll often have the pool all to yourself—serene and relaxing. It’s an ideal base for exploring Lagos and its surroundings, whether you’re into sightseeing or just unwinding. Truly a hidden gem with incredible comfort and charm.

My short stay at Infante Guesthouse was absolutely delightful. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with efficient air conditioning—perfect for a comfortable night's sleep on the cozy bed. Located just steps away from shops, restaurants, and local amenities, the property offers unbeatable convenience. While the nearby square does get a bit lively at night, it didn’t bother us at all. The rooftop area is a real highlight—breathtaking views of the city, ideal for sunset moments or a quiet evening with a drink. Hosts Marek and Isabel were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the experience feel personal and genuine. A standout choice in Lagos, both for its charm and excellent value.
