We didn’t use the kitchen, but it’s fully equipped with two electric hobs, a microwave/oven combo, and a fridge—perfect for basic cooking needs. The beds were incredibly cozy, making for a restful night’s sleep. There’s also 24/7 paid security patrolling the area, which adds peace of mind. A quick heads-up: rideshare services like Uber or taxis will drop you off at the back entrance on a different street, so make sure to share the exact address with your driver to avoid confusion. Also, the platform sends email instructions to access the unit, and payment is required two weeks prior to arrival—not upon check-in as some might assume. Additionally, another service (Supehog) will email separately to collect the damage waiver fee. It would be helpful if this info were clearly listed in the booking instructions. Overall, I’d highly recommend this property in Bakoven for travelers looking to stay within walking distance of Camp’s Bay during daylight hours. Great location, excellent value, and a very pleasant stay.

The staff went above and beyond—right from the airport pickup to check-out, I felt genuinely cared for. Special mention goes to Mihla Mekani at the rooftop bar; his friendly service made a lasting impression. The location is excellent, the atmosphere relaxing, and the whole experience truly memorable. Would definitely come back.
