Breakfast was satisfying, especially the fresh fried eggs and the variety of options available. It’s a smart choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and value in Istanbul. I’d definitely stay here again.

Staying at 39 Kalamış Marina Hotel & Restaurant was an absolute highlight of my trip to Istanbul. This boutique hotel is beautifully located right by the marina, offering a serene and authentic atmosphere with thoughtful local art and design throughout. The restaurant is exceptional—serving delicious meals with stunning views of the Kalamış Marina. I especially loved dining here at sunset; the ambiance was perfect. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, so you never have to go far for a good meal. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole experience felt personal and welcoming. It’s easily one of my favorite stays in this part of the city—truly a hidden gem that combines comfort, charm, and unbeatable location.
Volley Hotel Istanbul
The hotel is a great value with excellent staff and a convenient location just a short taxi ride from the city center. I stayed here primarily because of the pool, but it was closed due to the season ending—still, the overall experience was very positive. The breakfast was decent and satisfying. What really stood out was the friendly and professional team, especially the Asian staff member who spoke English fluently—much better than most places I’ve visited. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Istanbul, even without the pool. A solid choice for a quiet, comfortable stay.

We stayed at this hotel apartment for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was spotlessly clean, with well-maintained kitchenware, a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer—perfect for families traveling with kids. The heating system worked great, making the rooms cozy and comfortable during the cooler months. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options. What stood out most was the staff—they were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering helpful tips about nearby attractions and sharing local insights that made our trip more enjoyable. Istanbul is famous for its street cats, and this hotel has one too: a beautiful long-haired cat named Coffee who regularly lounges on the lobby sofa. She’s gentle and friendly, and everyone fell in love with her. Plus, there’s a bus stop just steps from the entrance down the hill, so getting around town was super convenient. Overall, this place offers comfort, convenience, and a homely feel—ideal for family travel. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely come back.

I booked the larger room, and it truly delivered—spacious and exactly as shown in the photos with no surprises. The window overlooks a partial wall of the neighboring building, but honestly, that didn’t bother me at all since I wasn’t looking for a sea view—I chose this room specifically for its size and open feel. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied. The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered great comfort. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a few minutes’ walk from the M4 line terminal at Saw Airport, right next to the ferry dock to Kadikoy, and also near the airport bus departure point—perfect for easy travel. During my stay, I interacted with four or five staff members, each one friendly, helpful, and genuinely willing to assist. Whenever I had a question, they responded promptly and provided real support. I don’t understand the negative comments about being unwelcoming to Chinese guests—everyone I met was polite, respectful, and made me feel welcome. This experience was outstanding, and I’d definitely return.
