Staying at Daiichi Fuji Hotel in Nagoya was an absolute delight. The hotel is incredibly close to the Shinkansen exit, making travel to places like Takayama super convenient—just a short bus ride away. Right outside the door, you’ll find Esca Underground Shopping Mall, perfect for grabbing breakfast with options like Komeda and Cafe de Crie nearby. Even after check-out, they offer luggage storage, which made our late departure stress-free. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming—they even gave me a complimentary face mask as a little surprise! Clean rooms, excellent location, and thoughtful touches make this hotel stand out. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya.

HOTEL LiVEMAX Nagoya Sakuradoriguchi

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station—about 10 minutes on foot—but it’s still very convenient overall. The room was surprisingly spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. I loved that the ground floor has a laundry machine, vending machines, and free luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out. It’s such a thoughtful touch for travelers who arrive early or depart late. Even though it’s not right next to the station, the location works well, especially if you’re okay with a short stroll. Great value, clean, and welcoming—the kind of place you’d happily return to when visiting Nagoya.

Staying at Toyoko Inn Nagoya-eki Sakuradori-guchi Shinkan was a fantastic experience. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the JR station, making it easy to explore downtown Nagoya or nearby attractions. The twin room with a large double bed was surprisingly spacious compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in; it made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. While the room isn’t huge, it easily fits a 28-inch suitcase with some extra space, and the layout makes good use of every inch. The free Western-style breakfast was a real highlight—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and great taste. Even if you’re not much of a breakfast person, you’ll find something you enjoy. The room was recently renovated and everything feels fresh and modern. While the space isn't huge, its location makes up for it—everything is within walking distance. Just a short stroll to Meitetsu Station and easily accessible to Takashimaya, making it perfect for travelers who love convenience. The surrounding area is packed with shopping districts, restaurants, and local eateries—no need to worry about where to eat or shop. The front desk staff spoke English fluently, which made everything so much easier. I was able to drop off my luggage in advance—great for a stress-free arrival. The room came with all the essentials: microwave, refrigerator, water purifier, vending machine, and even a washing machine—perfect for longer stays or business trips. While the room is compact, it’s designed for rest, not living, so if you’re just here to sleep, it works perfectly fine. Everything you need is there, and the overall value is excellent. Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel (JR-Central Hotels)

Staying right above Nagoya Station was an absolute game-changer. The hotel is seamlessly connected to JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu lines, plus local subway and bus stops—getting anywhere in the city or even to the airport or Legoland was effortless. Yes, the room rate is on the higher side, but the convenience made it worth every penny. We were on the 22nd floor facing west, so we could hear trains occasionally passing below—but honestly, it didn’t disturb sleep at all. The surrounding area is packed with options: Takashimaya department store, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants—you can grab everything within steps. The room itself isn’t huge, but the view from the upper floor is unbeatable, especially at night when the city lights sparkle across the skyline. Daily cleaning was thorough, staff were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like quality toiletries and skincare sets. The bathroom was spacious with a relaxing bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a long day. Overall, the combination of location, comfort, and service made this stay truly memorable.

9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station

Staying at 9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Nagoya Station’s exit 1, and right next to some of the best local eateries I’ve tried in Japan. The room itself was clean, quiet, and well-designed with a spacious shower area that made my morning routine so much more enjoyable. The only downside? We had to vacate the room every day between 11 AM and 3 PM, which was a bit inconvenient, especially after a long day of exploring. But honestly, that tiny hassle doesn’t take away from how great the whole experience was. The comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location make this place stand out. If you're visiting Nagoya, I’d definitely come back here again. A real gem for travelers who value both convenience and quality.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier

I came back to the hotel after check-out and was warmly welcomed by the staff, who immediately reminded me that my luggage had already been brought up to the room. Even more thoughtful, they found and returned a bracelet I’d accidentally left behind—such a kind gesture! This time, my room had a different view, but the layout and furnishings remained exactly as I remembered from my previous stay—comfortable and elegant. I still enjoy my daily visit to the on-site bathhouse, which is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Nagoya. The sunset at 4:30 PM was absolutely stunning—captured it for you all!
