The Strings Hotel Nagoya

The lobby of The Strings Hotel Nagoya is absolutely stunning—elegant, spacious, and full of character. From the moment you step in, you can tell it’s a special place. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making check-in smooth and welcoming. While the room is on the smaller side, it’s perfectly designed with high-quality furnishings and everything you need. What really stood out was the thoughtful touch of the complimentary facial mask and skincare set—such a nice surprise! I used the mask right after arriving, and my skin felt instantly smoother and more radiant. It’s rare to find such a great balance of comfort, style, and value. This hotel delivers beyond expectations—highly recommend for anyone visiting Nagoya.

Meitetsu Grand Hotel

The location of Meitetsu Grand Hotel is absolutely fantastic—getting around by train, bus, or even on foot is incredibly convenient. The hotel’s private elevator leads directly to the B1 level, where you’ll find HARBS bakery right next to the takeout counter, and just a short walk away is a bustling department store food court and direct access to the underground shopping complex. We stayed in a triple room, which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the soundproofing—some noise from the hallway could be heard, but it didn’t bother us much. The lighting in the room had a slightly yellowish tone, which made the space feel a bit dim, but again, that’s a minor issue when you consider how central and well-connected the hotel is. For travelers who value convenience and easy access to dining and shopping, this place is a real winner. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Nagoya.

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Nagoya Station

Staying at Four Points Flex by Sheraton Nagoya Station was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room is compact but thoughtfully designed—every inch of space feels purposeful and comfortable. I especially loved the adjustable lighting, which made it easy to set the mood whether relaxing or working. The bathroom stood out with its luxurious soaking tub, consistent water temperature, and top-tier smart toilet—definitely among the best in this category. Though it’s a chain property with standardized service, every staff member I interacted with was genuinely warm and attentive. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to a vibrant strip of restaurants and izakayas, perfect for dinner and evening strolls. Getting around town via train is also super convenient. Overall, the quality, comfort, and value make this hotel a standout choice. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Ekimae

Staying at Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Ekimae was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon check-in, they offered free drinks — such a nice little touch! The breakfast was generous and varied, with plenty of options to choose from, and the quality was surprisingly good for a hotel this size. The location couldn’t be better — literally steps away from Nagoya Station, making it super easy to get around by train or subway, whether you're heading to shopping districts, temples, or nearby attractions. I was really impressed with the soundproofing in the room — no noise from hallways or neighboring rooms, so I got a solid night’s sleep every time. And the price? Only around $130 USD per night, which feels like an absolute steal for the comfort, convenience, and quality here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a deep, restful sleep every night. I didn’t get a chance to take photos before the kids made it a bit messy, but the pictures on the platform match the room exactly—no exaggeration. What stood out was the thoughtful touches: the washing machine came with detergent, and the bathroom even had a built-in drying function. It’s ideal for families or travelers who value convenience and cleanliness. Located in a great spot, it’s easy to access via public transit, and the overall value is outstanding. 9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station

Staying at 9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Nagoya Station’s exit 1, and right next to some of the best local eateries I’ve tried in Japan. The room itself was clean, quiet, and well-designed with a spacious shower area that made my morning routine so much more enjoyable. The only downside? We had to vacate the room every day between 11 AM and 3 PM, which was a bit inconvenient, especially after a long day of exploring. But honestly, that tiny hassle doesn’t take away from how great the whole experience was. The comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location make this place stand out. If you're visiting Nagoya, I’d definitely come back here again. A real gem for travelers who value both convenience and quality.
