The DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans delivers an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great blend of Southern charm and modern comfort. Our room was clean, spacious, and very cozy—especially the bed, which made for a restful night's sleep. One minor note: since the hotel is close to the riverfront, we occasionally heard distant ship horns at night. That said, it’s not disruptive at all—the building has good sound insulation, and the sounds actually add a unique local flavor to the stay. Overall, the location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the value is outstanding. I’d definitely book here again when visiting New Orleans.

But what truly sets this B&B apart is Glenn’s genuine warmth and personal touch—he takes real interest in guest comfort and serves up a delicious, custom breakfast each morning that changes daily. From the Roman statues and ornate planters to the thick greenery framing the pool, every corner feels like a scene from a dream. Honestly, just for the peace and beauty of it, this place is worth a trip to New Orleans all by itself.

I had a small hiccup with my booking: the room type I reserved wasn’t available upon check-in, and the hotel initially only offered me a downgrade. Thankfully, the platform stepped in and arranged a complimentary upgrade to a suite—photo one is the suite, photo two is the deluxe king. The upgrade made all the difference! Excellent service, great value, and a truly comfortable stay. I’d definitely book again.
