We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian, and I can confidently say it was one of the best kid-friendly hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The children’s themed room was a hit—colorful, playful, and packed with fun details that instantly delighted our little ones. From themed toiletries to small toys, every touch showed genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids were entertained for hours, thanks to the excellent in-house play areas—perfect for burning off energy without any stress. As adults, we also appreciated the beautifully maintained indoor pool with clear, warm water—ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service truly stood out too: special thanks to Yina for her warm, attentive hospitality, always ready to help; and the housekeeping staff who kept the room spotless and welcoming. The location is fantastic—close to the waterfront but still convenient for city exploration. With top-tier amenities, thoughtful family services, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this hotel lives up to its five-star reputation. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to Dalian with the kids.

But honestly, these were just small details in an otherwise outstanding stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The room might be a bit dated, but it’s super comfortable and well-maintained. Plus, the four brand-new elevators (by Mitsubishi!) run smoothly and give you peace of mind. Location-wise, it’s perfect—just steps from the metro and bus stops, making getting around town a breeze. For the comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is a standout. I’ll definitely be coming back to Dalian and choosing this one again.

The staff went above and beyond: when my friend got scratched by a cat, they immediately provided iodine swabs, band-aids, and alcohol wipes—so thoughtful! Housekeeping came by every day without fail, keeping everything tidy and fresh. Location-wise, it's just 30 meters from Gangwan Square exit D—super convenient. Right downstairs are restaurants like Zhenghuangqi BBQ, a new foot spa, and plenty of other dining options nearby. A short walk takes you to McDonald’s and the beautiful waterfront area. Dalian itself is such a lovely city, and staying here made exploring effortless. Great value, excellent service, and a really comfortable stay overall—I’ll definitely be back.

Everywhere I wanted to go was just a short walk or quick metro ride away. The hotel itself is spacious and easy to find—the front entrance is very visible and welcoming. Everything you’d expect in a modern hotel is here: comfortable beds, well-maintained bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. And having a Biaoyou Supermarket right across the street made grocery shopping a breeze. With great value, top-notch cleanliness, and excellent location, this place truly delivers. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back on my next trip to Dalian.

When I get tired, I can just hop on the bed for a quick nap without even leaving the room. Cleanliness is excellent: fresh towels, crisp linens, and a spotless space overall. Plus, there's a convenience store and small food stalls right downstairs—perfect for grabbing snacks or drinks when hunger strikes. Everything’s super convenient, and the value-for-money is unbeatable. I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Dalian.
