Shangri-La Hotel Dalian
We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian, and I can confidently say it was one of the best kid-friendly hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The children’s themed room was a hit—colorful, playful, and packed with fun details that instantly delighted our little ones. From themed toiletries to small toys, every touch showed genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids were entertained for hours, thanks to the excellent in-house play areas—perfect for burning off energy without any stress. As adults, we also appreciated the beautifully maintained indoor pool with clear, warm water—ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service truly stood out too: special thanks to Yina for her warm, attentive hospitality, always ready to help; and the housekeeping staff who kept the room spotless and welcoming. The location is fantastic—close to the waterfront but still convenient for city exploration. With top-tier amenities, thoughtful family services, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this hotel lives up to its five-star reputation. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to Dalian with the kids.

With its serene setting and great value, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dalian who wants a relaxing retreat without compromising on convenience.

I booked this hotel for exam prep, and they even surprised me with a thoughtful encouragement gift—really made me feel supported during a stressful time. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always going the extra mile without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, service, and unique little details. If I ever return to Dalian, this will be my first choice again.

Staying at California Hotel was a fantastic experience! The American-style decor is fresh and inviting, making the whole place feel cozy yet modern. What stood out most was how close it is to Lingjiao Bay—just a short walk away, perfect for morning strolls or evening views. There are plenty of great local eateries nearby, so dinner options are never an issue. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room at no extra cost—such a nice surprise! Conveniently located near Tiger Beach Ocean Park, with easy access to public transit. For the price, this hotel offers amazing value and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dalian.

Staying on the second floor was such a treat—the private sunroom outside the room was perfect for relaxing with sunlight pouring in. The staff, Xiao Song and Xiao Zuo, were incredibly warm and attentive—they even boiled water and made us a fresh pot of tea. Sipping tea while chatting about stocks cleared my mind completely, and I left feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the market tomorrow. The whole experience felt like a little escape from city life. Super cozy, great service, and an unbeatable vibe. Definitely coming back.
Riyue Ming Zhenxuan Hotel (Dalian Railway Station,Songyun Street)
I booked this hotel well in advance, and I’m so glad I did—everything exceeded my expectations. The property features a charming little garden with a friendly cat, and to my surprise, they even have peacocks and parrots! Breakfast was a real highlight—I could enjoy my meal by the window while watching the peacocks stroll around. The location is excellent: I followed the navigation to Zhongshan Square and found it easy to get there. Friendly Plaza is nearby, and taking Line 5 to Qingniwaqiao Exit H2 puts you right next to the shopping complex. The first floor has an amazing array of local eats—every time I stayed here for three nights, I made it a point to go back for more: steamed buns, squid, skewers—each one delicious. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. While some rooms on the 6th floor of Building B require walking up and down stairs, it’s not a hassle at all. Plus, the building has a fire station on the ground floor, which gives a real sense of security. Overall, fantastic value, great atmosphere, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Dalian.

The heating worked wonders during winter—room temperature stayed comfortably warm throughout our stay, so no worries about the cold. There was even a fridge in the room, which made storing drinks and snacks super convenient. But what really stood out was the host—so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Located just a short walk from Tiger Beach Ocean Park, it’s also easy to reach via public transit. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-designed retreat with excellent service and great value, this place is a must-try.
Yushu Xia Seaview Homestay (Dalian Donggang Venice Water City Branch)
The location is absolutely perfect. During my one-week stay in Dalian, I stayed at several hotels including Starway, Orange, and Mercure, but this was by far the best choice. The value for money is outstanding, and the room was the most spacious of all. It's just a 3-minute walk to the liveliest part of Venice Water City and the seaside—perfect for morning strolls or sunset views. You can easily reach Gangdong Wujie to see the big ships with a leisurely walk. There’s a shopping mall within a few hundred meters, making dining and daily errands super convenient. What really stood out was the warm hospitality from the staff. The owner kindly upgraded me to a sea-view room upon learning I was traveling with kids and elderly family members, which made everything so much easier. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Dalian. I’ve truly fallen in love with this city—and with this place.

I've stayed at quite a few esports hotels, but this one truly stands out as my favorite. The gaming setup is top-notch—powerful PCs handle all the latest games smoothly, and the ergonomic chair makes long sessions comfortable. When I get tired, I can just hop on the bed for a quick nap without even leaving the room. Cleanliness is excellent: fresh towels, crisp linens, and a spotless space overall. Plus, there's a convenience store and small food stalls right downstairs—perfect for grabbing snacks or drinks when hunger strikes. Everything’s super convenient, and the value-for-money is unbeatable. I’ll definitely be back here on my next trip to Dalian.
