Staying at Furama Hotel Dalian was an absolute highlight of my trip to Dalian. As the first five-star hotel in Northeast China, it’s impressive how well-preserved and vibrant this property remains after all these years. The room was spotless, with crisp, comfortable bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The ground-floor mall is well-stocked with a wide variety of goods—perfect for picking up souvenirs or everyday essentials. The pool water temperature was just right, and the hot tub was a real treat for unwinding after a long day. I especially want to commend the front desk staff, Xu Qingsong from the pool and sauna area, and swimming instructor Bao Xin—their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. From the ambiance to the service, every aspect felt premium. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalian.

The room might be a bit dated, but it’s super comfortable and well-maintained. Plus, the four brand-new elevators (by Mitsubishi!) run smoothly and give you peace of mind. Location-wise, it’s perfect—just steps from the metro and bus stops, making getting around town a breeze. For the comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is a standout. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. And having a Biaoyou Supermarket right across the street made grocery shopping a breeze. With great value, top-notch cleanliness, and excellent location, this place truly delivers. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back on my next trip to Dalian.
