But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! The overhead showerhead seemed to need descaling, but again, it didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast offerings were solid, though the pastries leaned on the sweeter side, and the freshly squeezed juice wasn’t prepared in front of guests—leading me to wonder if it was truly fresh or pre-made (it did show slight separation). I also missed seeing small wontons on the menu, but these minor points don’t overshadow the bigger picture. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail are top-notch. I stayed in Chengdu for a game and chose this hotel near Chunxi Road—perfect location! Nestled on a quiet street, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Taikoo Li, so everything was super convenient. The lobby is on the 38th floor, and I was on the 58th—what an incredible view and atmosphere from the moment you step in. From check-in onward, the staff were warm and attentive. The executive perks included afternoon tea and happy hour, both memorable experiences. I especially loved the panda-shaped latte art—so cute I had to grab one every morning. One time I was holding two cups at the juice bar, unsure what to pick, and a staff member immediately came over to ask if I needed help—such great service awareness.
