The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need: stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, and utensils—ideal for preparing meals on-site. I especially appreciated how helpful and warm the hosts were—they even assisted with luggage and helped arrange a ride. It’s rare to find such a personal touch combined with top-notch cleanliness and convenience. This place offers excellent value and a truly authentic Milan experience. I stayed in Room 4, which overlooks the main avenue—quiet and well-lit, though the private bathroom is located on the upper floor. Security is top-notch with a personalized code to access your room if you accidentally leave your key inside—such a thoughtful touch. Everything about this stay felt well thought out and comfortable. I’d definitely return here on my next trip to Milan.

Italianway - Piazza Lima 1
We were supposed to receive the door code via email upon check-in, but it never arrived. When I tried to contact Italianway staff, I could barely hear them due to the loud noise in the office. They insisted it had been sent and that we should have it already. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally resent it. All this happened while we were standing outside in 34°C heat, waiting with our two heavy suitcases. To make matters worse, we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs to a flat without air conditioning—something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. As someone who’s lived in Italy for over 20 years (my wife is Italian), I know what to expect when traveling here, but this was still an exhausting experience, especially for us in our mid-seventies. That said, the apartment was clean and located in a very convenient spot—our only positive takeaway.

The hotel itself feels spacious and well-maintained, with a modern yet welcoming vibe. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-designed, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers. I especially appreciated the quiet, cozy atmosphere after a long day of exploring Milan. One small note: while Europe tends to promote sustainability by not providing free toiletries or bottled water, having them available—even as optional extras—would make the experience even more convenient for guests who don’t bring their own. Still, the location, comfort, and overall value are outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Milan.
