Hotel Barbarossa
Staying at Hotel Barbarossa in Düsseldorf was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, offering plenty of room for luggage and relaxation. The bar isn’t huge, but it’s well-maintained and functional—perfect for a quiet drink after a long day. The bed is large and cozy, though the slatted base is quite soft, so you’ll notice movement if your partner shifts during the night—something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to motion. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with a good variety of options and friendly staff who made the morning start smooth and welcoming. The front desk is open 24/7, which is a big plus for late arrivals or early departures. One thing to note: the fourth floor is only accessible via stairs from the third floor—other floors are served by elevator. It’s a small inconvenience, but easy to adjust to. All in all, this hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Düsseldorf.

Whether I was exploring the vibrant downtown area or heading back to the hotel, everything was easy and well-connected. Great value, excellent location, and a comfortable stay overall—I’d definitely return.

Staying at the Radisson Hotel Düsseldorf City Center was a great experience. Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, the location is super convenient with plenty of supermarkets and public transport options nearby—bus stops and subway stations are literally right around the corner. I especially appreciated the small Vietnamese restaurant across the street; we ended up eating there for two consecutive days because the food was fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an ideal base for exploring Düsseldorf—great value, excellent access, and a comfortable stay overall. Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting the city.

I absolutely loved staying at Max Brown Hotel Midtown, part of Sircle Collection. The interior design is stunning—stylish, unique, and full of character. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a pleasant scent in the lobby that set the tone for a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Düsseldorf, steps away from fantastic Asian restaurants and shops. My room was cozy and thoughtfully designed with a charming vintage touch, complemented by an incredibly comfortable bed and high-quality linens. Every detail felt intentional and well-curated. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.
Hotel Flora Düsseldorf
The hotel feels a bit dated, but the bed is surprisingly comfortable and the bathroom is clean and cozy. That said, the room isn’t very soundproof—both guests next door and street traffic can be heard clearly. Still, the location is excellent: you can reach the city center in just 30 minutes on foot, or hop on an electric scooter (plenty available along the streets) and get there in under 10 minutes. We tried this several times—it’s both fun and practical. Breakfast is basic but tasty and satisfying. Overall, it’s a solid choice if your main goals are a good night’s sleep, a decent breakfast, and exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. We paid €99 for two nights including breakfast, and honestly, it was well worth every euro.

We absolutely loved staying in Apartment 1—the layout and location made it a perfect choice. The two spacious bedrooms each had three single beds, comfortably fitting our group of four. The kitchen was located in the corridor between the rooms—small but functional, as we only used the toaster for quick snacks. The bathroom stood out with its generous size, featuring both a tub and a shower. Located right on the Old Town Square, the apartment offered unbeatable convenience for exploring local restaurants, shops, and attractions. However, be aware that street noise can be noticeable at night, especially from nearby venues. One small drawback: no hairdryer was provided in the room—something worth noting if you rely on one daily. Despite that, the overall experience was excellent. Great value, central spot, and a truly authentic city stay. We’d definitely book again.

This time we stayed at Hotel Astra as a couple, and our comfort double room faced the garden. Unfortunately, the sun streamed straight into the room all afternoon, which was a bit uncomfortable. After a quick chat with reception, they promptly offered us another room overlooking the parking area—no hassle at all. The service was excellent, and their fast response made a big difference. The new room was quiet, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom, while small, felt fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast was once again top-notch—plenty of variety, great quality, and delicious. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations. The staff’s attentiveness, the cozy atmosphere, and the value for money make it a definite return visit. Highly recommend!
