We had an absolutely delightful stay at Chambre d'hôtes Fabilio during the Marseille World Marathon event—three days and two nights that felt like a true getaway. Nestled at the end of a quiet alley, the property offers a peaceful retreat from the city buzz, yet it's still easily accessible by public transit. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness made all the difference. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. We’re already planning our return visit and would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Marseille. 100% satisfied!
Hôtel Le Mistral
From the moment we arrived at Hôtel Le Mistral, it was clear we were in good hands—warm welcome, attentive and friendly staff always ready to assist. The rooms are spotless: impeccable cleanliness, high-quality linens, simple yet thoughtful decor, and the sea view truly makes a difference. Its location is a major plus—just a short walk from Pointe Rouge Beach and close to public transport for easy access to the city center. Breakfast was excellent—fresh ingredients, well-presented, with a great variety to start the day right. Overall, this charming, well-maintained hotel is perfect for relaxation or a family getaway. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is spotlessly clean, with modern and comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home. It's incredibly convenient for getting around: just a short walk from the metro station and close to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. What really stood out was the breakfast—fresh, well-prepared, and full of variety. I especially loved the hot coffee and freshly baked pastries every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money is outstanding. If you're visiting Marseille, this is definitely a top choice. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and affordable stay.
Hotel Lutia
Arrived late in the evening and immediately noticed the lights weren’t working. We were greeted by cockroaches everywhere, a wobbly staircase, and the toilet located outside the room—definitely not what I expected. The front desk staff changed the light bulb right in front of us and even crushed a cockroach with their foot. The whole situation felt extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. For such a low rating, I’d strongly advise against staying here—even for just one night. Poor maintenance, questionable hygiene, and no comfort at all.

I stayed just one night at Residence Services Calypso Calanques Plage in Marseille, and the experience was excellent overall. The small studio is very practical for a short trip or business visit—fully equipped with everything I needed, including a well-organized kitchen. The only minor note is that the shower gel and shampoo were quite minimal, just a tiny amount plus a small soap bar, but otherwise, it didn’t affect my stay. Keep in mind the sofa bed needs to be made up yourself since it’s not prepped. What stood out was the free parking right in front of the residence—huge plus whether you’re driving or using a rental car. The staff welcomed me warmly upon arrival, making check-in smooth and friendly. Location-wise, it's quiet yet close to the scenic calanques area. For a budget-friendly, no-frills option with good convenience and quality, this place is definitely worth considering. I’d happily return if I’m back in Marseille.

The caretaker was somewhat friendly upon arrival, but during our two-night stay, we were subjected to numerous unsettling and borderline threatening remarks that had no place in a hospitality setting. The atmosphere of the place felt dull and unwelcoming, which greatly impacted our experience. Overall, it was far from enjoyable, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to others.

The entire property has recently been renovated, and every detail reflects care and attention—rooms are spotless, tastefully decorated, and the bedding is top-notch for a truly restful night. Breakfast was generous and delicious, offering a great start to the day. On-site parking is available if needed, which is a big plus. We're just steps away from local amenities, surrounded by greenery and peaceful surroundings. Everything you’d want for a perfect stay is here—convenience, comfort, and charm. It’s rare to find such a well-rounded experience, and I’ll definitely be returning.

My stay at this apartment hotel was underwhelming overall. The highlight, a traditional bouillabaisse, came with a steep price tag—80 euros per person—which felt completely unjustified. Despite the name and promise of authentic Marseille cuisine, the dish lacked the rich, bold flavors expected. I noticed only common fish like cod and some mussels, but no real signature ingredient like the prized sea bass (loup). The atmosphere tried too hard to feel cozy and family-like, but it ended up feeling artificial and staged. The apartment itself was basic, with minimal amenities, and while located in the city center, the neighborhood didn’t offer much charm or convenience. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Marseille, I’d recommend exploring other options—this one simply doesn’t deliver value for money.

The staff greeted me warmly and made the stay feel personal and welcoming. It’s rare to find such a well-maintained, cozy place at this price point. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Marseille—this hidden gem deserves more attention!
