Hotel Geneve CD de Mexico
This historic hotel offers a charming stay despite some aging facilities—nothing that disrupted comfort during my visit. The location is excellent, with numerous authentic restaurants just a short walk away, and it’s easily accessible by metro or on foot. I felt very relaxed throughout my stay. The only minor drawbacks were the ventilation and drainage in the bathroom, which could be improved. Aside from those small issues, this was a solid choice with great value and a lovely atmosphere.

Even though the area is known for nightlife, closing the terrace door completely blocked out any noise—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The personalized welcome touches made me feel truly special. The restaurant offers stunning nighttime views, ideal for a relaxing dinner, and the gym is spotless and well-maintained. A few small suggestions: it would be great to have bottled water and extra towels available in the room. Also, adding more charging ports near the desk would improve convenience, as finding connections was a bit awkward. The tissue box only had one napkin, which was a bit surprising. Still, overall, the service was excellent, the location is fantastic, and the attention to detail really sets this place apart. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and felt just like the romantic setting from Roman Holiday—opening the balcony doors revealed a wrought-iron railing overlooking the street, giving it a nostalgic, cinematic vibe. Breakfast was solid, though the dining area in the lobby did feel a bit chilly. What really stood out was the location: steps away from Zócalo and many cultural highlights. Walking or hopping on public transit is super convenient, making it easy to explore downtown Mexico City. With its great value, warm hospitality, and prime spot, I’d definitely return.
