Staying at Wyndham Garden Berlin Mitte was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy heater that made winter stays perfect. The sofa was plush and ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. Just steps from the front door, there are two supermarkets and a self-service laundry, making daily errands super convenient. One note: while the platform mentioned breakfast for children under 11 is free, the hotel staff clarified it’s only for kids under 6. It’s worth double-checking upon arrival to avoid confusion. Overall, this hotel offers great value, excellent location, and a welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend for travelers visiting Berlin.

Absolutely perfect! This hotel offers a fantastic blend of modern design, excellent location, and top-notch service. Just a short subway ride from the city center, it’s convenient without being too far from the buzz of Berlin. The rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable—especially the bed, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I was impressed by how vibrant and energetic the atmosphere is, while still feeling peaceful thanks to the nearby park. It’s a great value for the quality, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Numa Berlin Belfort
Our stay at Numa Berlin Belfort was a mixed experience. While the accommodation itself was decent and the location convenient, the digital check-in process was a major disappointment. Despite friendly support from the hotline and online chat, it took nearly 24 hours to receive our access PIN—no on-site staff were available to assist. To make matters worse, we discovered upon arrival that our unit was double-booked. How this could happen, especially since everything was supposed to be handled digitally and we’d already checked in the day before, remains a mystery. Our first full day of vacation was completely ruined—we spent hours on calls and messages just trying to resolve access to a room that was already occupied. And all this with two kids in tow. It’s frustrating to rely solely on codes and remote support when real, human help is needed. We won’t be returning. There absolutely must be an on-site representative available for urgent situations.

This has always been our go-to hotel whenever visiting friends in Kreuzberg—a place we’ve trusted for years. The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable for exploring the vibrant neighborhood. We were genuinely surprised to learn it’s closed now—such a shame. I really hope a new owner takes it over and keeps up the tradition of offering clean, reliable, and affordable accommodation in one of Berlin’s most lively areas. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a home away from home.

Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Berlin—great value, excellent location, and a warm, personal touch that makes all the difference.

Staying at Hotel Berliner Bär was a really positive experience overall. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful—perfect for a good night's sleep. It’s also very convenient for getting around Berlin via public transport. The only small improvement I’d suggest is the door handle design. When exiting the room, it’s awkward to turn the handle from the outside, so guests end up pulling the door shut, which sometimes causes a loud bang. This can wake you up if neighbors are leaving late at night. Other than that, everything else was excellent—the comfort, the atmosphere, and the value for money make this a great choice. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a cozy, quiet base in Berlin.
