The location is perfect, just steps away from key sites in Makkah, making it incredibly convenient for pilgrims and travelers alike. Elaf Bakkah Hotel
Stayed here for four nights and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—right next to a free shuttle bus stop that takes you straight to Masjid al-Haram. It only takes about 5 minutes to reach Terminal 4 near Marwa from the front-stop, making access to the holy site super easy. I booked both a double room and a triple room, but the hotel upgraded me to a four-bed room with small-sized beds. While the beds aren’t large, the room itself is spacious and very comfortable. Bonus: the electrical outlets support small appliances like electric rice cookers—perfect for travelers who like to cook their own meals. Breakfast was Middle Eastern-style—no rice, just pastries and other local treats—but the flavors were surprisingly spot-on for my Indonesian palate. There are also plenty of shops around Elaf Bakkah Hotel, offering everything from snacks to souvenirs, so you won’t need to go far for essentials. Overall, this 3-star hotel delivers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Makkah.
Al Rayan Towers Hotel
Honestly, I’m writing this review as I’m on my way back to Qatar after a perfect five-day stay at Al Rayan Towers Hotel with my family during our Umrah pilgrimage. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded all expectations. The front desk and reservations staff were among the most courteous and professional we’ve ever encountered—smiles were genuine, and every interaction felt warm and reassuring. The hotel is just a short 7-kilometer walk from the Grand Mosque, but what truly stood out was the exceptional 24/7 shuttle service. Every bus clearly displays driver and supervisor contact numbers for transparency and immediate response. The buses arrive right in front of the Clock Tower, just a two-minute walk from the mosque entrance—extremely convenient for pilgrims. Cleanliness throughout the rooms was outstanding, and any request was met promptly with no hesitation. During one of our transfers, I accidentally left some valuable personal items on the shuttle. To my relief, the driver (who I believe was Khalid) found them and returned everything personally—truly heartwarming. I’d like to sincerely thank Saad, Saeed Al Zahrani, Ayman Al Qurani, Khaled Al Zahrani, Wessam, and others whose names I didn’t catch—your kindness and gentle demeanor made a lasting impression. The hotel’s proximity to restaurants, shopping areas, and Masjid Aisha (RA) adds to its appeal. If you’re planning a visit to Makkah, especially for Umrah, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a home away from home with unmatched hospitality.

It’s a budget-friendly option that doesn’t compromise on hygiene or peace of mind. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and convenient base near the holy site without distractions, this is an excellent choice. Simple, reliable, and well-located—highly recommended for travelers seeking serenity and practicality.

We arrived right after our prayers and were impressed by how convenient it was—just a short walk from the holy site. The hotel is family-friendly with spacious rooms that felt clean and welcoming. Everything we needed was within walking distance: local eateries, convenience stores, and shops. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. It's rare to find such a peaceful yet well-connected place in Makkah. If you're visiting for Umrah or just exploring, this hotel offers excellent value and comfort. Highly recommend!
Selat Al Bait Hotel
We stayed at this property for a few nights and were really impressed. It's conveniently located just a short distance from the Haram, making it easy to access on foot or via the shuttle service provided. Although it's categorized as a 3-star hotel, the cleanliness, service quality, and overall atmosphere felt more like a 5-star experience. The 24-hour front desk was always welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Makkah—excellent value and a great home away from home.

The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the Grand Mosque, making it ideal for those visiting during Hajj or Umrah. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, offering quick assistance with check-in and local tips. Despite being budget-friendly, the hotel delivers excellent value without compromising on comfort or safety. It’s perfect for travelers who want reliability and convenience without breaking the bank. I’d definitely recommend it and would consider staying here again.
Dhiafat Al Raja Hotel
The hotel offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly staff and decent room quality overall. However, the main issue is the excessive noise—our room faced a busy road where cars honked nonstop throughout the day and night, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep peacefully. The walls are also very thin, so we could hear every word from the neighboring room, and vice versa—quite disruptive. There’s even a door connecting our room to the next one, which has been sealed off, but that seems to worsen sound transmission instead of helping. The beds were acceptable, though the pillows were too flat and soft—definitely needed more fluffiness. I’d recommend providing two pillows instead of just one. Location-wise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Haram, situated on Ibrahim Khalil Road, and there are plenty of food options right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. If they invest in better soundproofing and improve room insulation, I’d definitely consider returning. In’shaa’Allah.

The hotel offers parking, though there’s a fee of $25, which is reasonable considering the overall value. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location is convenient for exploring nearby sites in Mecca, and the entire experience felt well worth every penny. Definitely a top choice for travelers visiting the area.
