The owner is incredibly friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I stayed at Badhotel the Hague Scheveningen for a short trip, and it was a great experience overall. The rooms are on the smaller side, but perfectly adequate for a 3-star hotel—well-organized and tidy. One small downside is that the carpet in the room hasn’t been replaced yet; upgrading to hard flooring would be a nice touch. The shower comes with a curtain, which works fine. Everything was extremely clean throughout the property—no complaints there. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, varied, and fresh. They offered multiple types of bread, spreads, fruit juice, plus freshly made eggs, fried bacon, pancakes, and more. It felt like a proper buffet without the hassle. The location is excellent too—just a quick walk or short metro ride from the city center, making it easy to explore The Hague. For a brief stay, this hotel delivers fantastic value and comfort. I’d definitely come back.

The service was excellent overall. I did have a minor issue with my room location, but the staff handled it promptly and without any hassle. What stood out was how welcoming and helpful they were—no request was too big or too small. Whether it was for extra towels or local recommendations, they were always ready to assist. Plus, the drinks at the hotel were surprisingly affordable compared to those on the Boulevard. It’s a great value for the quality and convenience. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a relaxed stay in The Hague.

Located just steps from the sea, this hotel offers a fantastic spot for exploring The Hague’s coastal charm. I loved being within walking distance of the circus theatre, the Sea Art Museum, and the lively boulevard—perfect for a relaxing stroll or an afternoon of culture. Housed in a beautifully preserved 1909 Jugendstil building, the hotel has a unique character and timeless elegance. Rooms are simple but clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff who made check-in smooth and welcoming. A nearby parking garage is a big plus for those traveling by car. One small note: I found a pair of earplugs left behind in the room, which might suggest some noise concerns—but overall, the quiet atmosphere and excellent location make up for it. Great value and a memorable stay.

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of The Hague, just a short walk from major attractions and public transit. The room was modern, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, making it easy to get a restful night's sleep. Everything felt fresh and spotless, down to the bathroom fixtures. It’s rare to find such a great balance of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience at this price point. Highly recommend for travelers who value a hassle-free, stylish stay.

The apartment is absolutely charming and well-maintained. Located just a short walk from the city center, it's incredibly convenient for exploring The Hague. While you do need to climb a few flights of stairs to reach the unit—so be mindful if you're traveling with heavy luggage—the interior is spotless, thoughtfully designed, and cozy. Everything you'd expect in a modern, comfortable stay is here: clean linens, functional kitchenware, and excellent lighting. The quiet neighborhood adds to the peaceful vibe, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this gem for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and location.

I can't believe I stayed here—this place was a complete disaster from start to finish. The building looked worn out and had a strong smell of wet dog right when I walked in. To make matters worse, tiny fish were swimming around in the bathroom! The kitchen was in terrible shape: the trash bin was broken, and the dishwasher still had dirty dishes left by the previous guest. The bed was filthy—greasy stains, deep dents, and absolutely uncomfortable. Mold was clearly visible on the ceiling, which raised serious hygiene concerns. The living room had a gross, stained sofa with a dirty cover, and no proper air conditioning—just a cheap fan from Action (€9.99) that didn’t work and made more noise than cool air. There were stains on the chair, and the curtains were hanging loose. In the bathroom, the shower had a broken soap dish, no soap, and the curtain just hung from a single hook. There wasn’t even a shelf to put your things on. Honestly, this place felt unsafe and completely unhygienic. I paid upfront, but upon arrival, it was clear this was nothing like the listing. I’ve asked for a refund proportional to what I actually received—and still haven’t heard back. Don’t do what I did. For €100 per night including breakfast, you can find so many clean, safe, and well-maintained hotels in Scheveningen. This one is not worth it.

Hotel Duinzicht in Scheveningen, The Hague, offers a quiet and peaceful stay just steps from the beach and dunes—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property is made up of several separate buildings, with rooms and apartments featuring small kitchens, ideal for longer stays or families. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, though they lack shutters on the windows—a common trait in the Netherlands. Breakfast is a generous buffet for €10 per person, offering good variety and quality. The owner is warm, helpful, and efficient—great hospitality that adds to the charm. Bonus: two free parking spots mean no stress about finding a place to park. Overall, the location, comfort, and value make this a standout choice for travelers seeking a calm, authentic Dutch seaside experience.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful. The check-in time was very flexible, which made our arrival stress-free. Our host even provided excellent local tips and directions, making it easy to explore the city. We stayed in a triple room—spacious, clean, and well-organized with ample storage. The in-room coffee machine was a perfect touch for early morning brews. Everything about this stay was top-notch. From the warm hospitality to the thoughtful amenities, it truly felt like home. I’d absolutely recommend this place and will be returning in the future.
