Staying at The Art Hotel by Via Varanasi was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, everything felt professional and thoughtfully organized—every little detail was considered. The rooms are truly artistic, with a unique charm that sets this place apart. The back area is perfect for families, offering a quiet, spacious retreat. The food stood out—especially the dal and Kasturi Methi Paneer, both rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff were incredibly courteous and always ready to help. Even the owner was down-to-earth and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and warm. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a memorable stay. Definitely worth every penny, and I’d happily return.

Staying at Hotel Heritage Inn at Assi Ghat in Varanasi was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is perfect—right by the sacred Ganges River, with easy access to temples and local life. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality; they were always attentive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. My room was beautifully decorated, clean, and peaceful—ideal for unwinding after a day exploring. The food was exceptional—authentic Indian flavors that truly captured the essence of the region. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, everything felt luxurious and well-maintained. The building itself is stunning, with a beautiful blend of traditional and modern design. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling, quick to assist, and genuinely attentive. I especially appreciated the free parking, which was convenient and secure. Housekeeping was top-notch; rooms were spotless and refreshed daily. Elevators made access easy, and the overall cleanliness of the property was impressive. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here. For such a high standard of comfort, service, and cleanliness at this price point, it’s an absolute gem. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

I traveled solo to Varanasi, India, and stayed at Moustache Varanasi—truly one of the best experiences! The staff was incredibly kind and never pressured me for money like some other places do. No pushy taxis or guides trying to upsell services—just genuine hospitality. I especially loved Mani, the adorable hostel dog who greeted me with wagging tail every time I came back. He added so much warmth and charm to the stay. The vibe is cozy, authentic, and welcoming—perfect for solo travelers looking for a meaningful connection with the city and its people. This place feels like home, and I’ll definitely be returning.

I’ve chosen to stay at Hotel Siddharth in Varanasi multiple times now, and it keeps delivering great value. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from major temples and bustling local markets. Public transport access is seamless, and the 24-hour shuttle service is a real lifesaver, especially during early morning or late-night arrivals. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with a nice balance between simplicity and functionality. That said, there’s room for improvement in housekeeping standards and the range of amenities—some basic items could be replenished more regularly. Still, considering the affordable rates and prime location, this hotel offers excellent bang for your buck. If you're looking for a no-frills yet reliable base in Varanasi, I’d definitely recommend giving Hotel Siddharth a try.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel J.S. Residency in Varanasi! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and well taken care of. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished—perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. Everything was well-maintained, and the amenities were more than just adequate—they felt genuinely premium. No hassle, no stress—just a peaceful, memorable experience. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Varanasi, this hotel is a top choice. I’d highly recommend it without hesitation.

Staying at Wander Station Varanasi was an absolutely unforgettable experience. We were a group of six girls sharing a room, and it was spotless—everyday cleaning, perfectly clean bedding, and each bed had its own individual AC and fan for comfort. The room had no unpleasant odors at all, which made the stay incredibly refreshing. But what truly stood out was the evening rooftop music sessions—intimate, atmospheric, and full of local charm. It felt like we were part of something special. The location is perfect for exploring Varanasi, and the staff are warm and welcoming. This place offers more than just a place to sleep—it’s an authentic cultural experience. I’d highly recommend it to any traveler seeking comfort, connection, and soulful moments.

The hotel's location was excellent—most tourist attractions were within a 0.5 to 4 km radius, making it super convenient to explore on foot or by local transport. It’s just steps away from a lively market, perfect for grabbing snacks or souvenirs. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a clean, calming vibe. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with great value and a welcoming atmosphere—I’d definitely return.

Staying at Hotel Aadesh Palace was an absolute delight. Located just a short walk from Gate No. 4 of the Kashi Vishvanath Temple, it’s perfectly positioned for spiritual travelers and sightseers alike. While vehicles can’t go beyond 500 meters due to restricted access in the temple area, the walk is manageable and part of the experience—offering glimpses of authentic Varanasi life. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. What truly stood out was the staff—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I especially want to thank the restaurant team (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!) for taking the time to explain local attractions and even helping me plan my sightseeing itinerary. Their guidance made my trip so much more meaningful. With excellent food, thoughtful service, and a peaceful atmosphere, this hotel offers great value and a memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varanasi.

Amazing hospitality! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean—perfect for a relaxing stay. Neeraj went above and beyond, even personally taking us on a short boat ride along the Ganges to witness a vibrant local celebration just a 2-minute walk from the guesthouse. We enjoyed our meals on the rooftop every evening—delicious food with breathtaking views of the river. It felt like being part of the moment, not just a tourist. Grateful for Neeraj and his team’s warmth and effort. This place truly stands out. If you're in Varanasi, don’t miss it!

Staying at The Century Plaza Hotel in Varanasi was a solid experience overall. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, making everything easily accessible by foot. The room was clean and well-equipped with all the basics you’d expect. However, there was a persistent sewer smell coming from the bathroom that required keeping the exhaust fan on for long periods—unfortunately, it’s quite noisy, which disrupted rest. This issue also affected my friends’ room during their stay, and neither room had windows, so ventilation was limited. I didn’t request daily cleaning as I picked up a stomach bug and needed to isolate myself for days. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating—they arranged early check-in and late checkout without hesitation, which made things much easier. The hotel has its own restaurant offering only vegetarian cuisine, perfect for those with dietary preferences. While not ideal for longer stays due to the ventilation and odor concerns, it’s a convenient and practical choice for a 2-3 night visit. I’d recommend this hotel for short trips, especially if you’re prioritizing location and service.

I’ve stayed at Indra Paying Guest House every year since 2017 — it was always a welcoming, reliable place. But things have taken a sharp turn for the worse since new management took over in April. I’ve always paid monthly and gave them ample notice of my departure on June 18th. On the 17th, I paid for 18 days as usual — yet the new manager informed me the next day that I’d either need to pay for the full month or never return. That’s simply unreasonable. I’ll be staying elsewhere next year. I try to stay positive, but since the change, the place has truly gone downhill. They’ve spent money on renovations, but without proper service, it’s all been wasted. Daily water supply is unreliable — you often have to walk to their other property just to report a break. And when water does come, it’s thick with fine silt, leaving grey residue on clothes, hair, and floors. The air conditioning is a disaster: after the previous manager removed it, the new one installed a replacement that leaks heavily — sometimes flooding inside the room, sometimes spilling across the landing, making it dangerously slippery. Placing a bucket under the drip helps only temporarily; if not emptied regularly, it just floods again. Waste collection has dropped from daily to once or twice a week. In hot months like April, May, and June, overflowing bins became a real problem — I even had to carry two full ones downstairs myself, which then mysteriously disappeared. Ants, flies, and even rats showed up due to the heat and poor hygiene. The final blow came on my last day — paying 40% of the building’s monthly rent and still being treated this way? It’s hard to believe. I genuinely hope they re-evaluate everything. For now, I won’t be coming back.
