The location is ideal for exploring the city; everything is within easy reach by foot or public transit. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience seamless. While there was a minor issue with ants near the windowsill (they must’ve been after some snacks!), it was quickly addressed and didn’t detract from the overall fantastic stay. Clean rooms, excellent amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere make this place stand out. If you're visiting Cancun, this is definitely a top choice. Highly recommend!

Hotel Handall is perfectly located in the heart of Cancún, just a block away from Chedraui, pharmacies, restaurants, and a bus stop heading straight to the hotel zone. The hotel’s café serves delicious food at very affordable prices, though it closes at 5 PM—luckily there’s a 24-hour convenience store right outside for late-night needs. The place feels quiet and mostly empty, which actually worked in our favor—we stayed 8 days and had the small pool all to ourselves for 5 of them. That kind of privacy is rare and appreciated. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained, but the front desk staff were quite serious and not very welcoming. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, low-key stay with easy access to everything, this hotel delivers great value without the touristy crowds.
