I first discovered this gem on Xiaohongshu and ended up booking through the platform for a 3-night stay—so glad I did! The Heritage Wing Suite offered incredible perks: three restaurants—Palm Court (Heritage Wing), Planters Lounge, and Sarkies—perfectly matched to my breakfast needs over three days. I also enjoyed unlimited access to both the Victory Wing and Heritage Wing infinity pools. Afternoon tea was complimentary from 12–6 PM, followed by cocktail hour from 6–7 PM—such a lovely touch. The in-room mini-fridge was fully stocked with 10 free drinks daily, plus one bottle of wine. Housekeeping came twice daily—morning and afternoon—for a consistently clean space. The only minor issue was a slight musty smell upon arrival, but it disappeared within a few days. With so many stunning photo spots—definitely more than 20—I couldn’t stop taking pictures. This hotel is a true visual delight and an absolute highlight of my trip.

The breakfast area overlooks the ocean, offering stunning views with every morning meal. Even though I forgot to take photos of the room, the overall experience was top-notch. For anyone who enjoys walking around, enjoying local flavors, and soaking in coastal vibes, this hotel is a fantastic choice—great value and ideal for a relaxed yet vibrant getaway.

The location is quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk from great dining options and easy access to public transport. Some rooms even offer lovely sea views—waking up to that view in the morning made the whole trip feel special. I especially want to thank Angel One from the front desk team—her warm hospitality and professionalism made a big difference. The entire staff were attentive and helpful throughout my stay. It’s clear this property values guest satisfaction, and I’ll definitely be returning.

The pool attendant was particularly welcoming, offering refreshments with a smile. Just a 5-8 minute stroll from the hotel brings you to the famous 888 Hokkien Mee, which is absolutely worth a visit. For sightseeing, hopping on a trishaw to Sungai Pijer Bridge takes less than 10 minutes by car, or you can walk there in about 15 minutes—perfect for exploring the city’s charm. After taking the stairs to the second floor, we found a large open-plan layout with a living area and kitchen—perfect for cooking meals and relaxing. The cleanliness was satisfactory with no major concerns, and the neighborhood was quiet yet well-connected to the city center. The only minor issue was during check-in when the door remained locked, requiring us to call staff to open it—a small inconvenience that could be improved. Despite that, the hotel offers excellent value, especially for guests who appreciate extra space and independence. I’d definitely recommend this place for both short stays and longer visits.
