I wish Iād read the reviews more carefully before booking. This stay at The Birmingham Hotel was truly disappointing. On the first night, I noticed soiled bed linens but didnāt mention it right awayāby the next morning, I politely asked for a replacement. Unfortunately, nothing changedāonly the bed was made up. I only checked again close to midnight and realized Iād been sleeping on dirty sheets once more. I brought it up again the following morning, and this time they finally replaced them. However, the bedroom door was left wide open, leaving all my belongings fully exposed to anyone passing by. Itās a fire door that should automatically closeāthis is a serious safety concern. I paid nearly Ā£700 for two rooms over three nights, and honestly, even if Iād paid Ā£150, Iād feel ripped off. For the price and experience, I canāt recommend staying here. Save yourself the hassleābook elsewhere.
