Despite not having the highest rating, this hotel turned out to be my favorite stay during the trip. The energy here is vibrant and perfect for young travelers—modern, stylish decor with a real sense of character. The room is intentionally dimly lit, which fits the design aesthetic, and it’s incredibly quiet. I slept like a baby and woke up completely refreshed. The breakfast was a highlight—freshly made waffles piled high with creamy butter, absolutely delicious and something I still think about. Super convenient location near the subway, making downtown Stockholm easy to explore. Great value, great vibe, and definitely a place I’d return to.

Great value for money and a really comfortable stay! I don’t speak Swedish, so I found it a bit tricky to understand the instructions on the intercom system—especially since the English audio wasn’t very clear. It would’ve been helpful if the messages were also available in Swedish. The double room was bright and fresh, with two large windows and deep window niches that doubled as extra storage space—such a clever design touch. The bedding was clean and crisp, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Gamla Stan, just steps away from Nygatan, where you’ll find cafes, shops, and local charm at every corner. A few small things could be improved: the room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, and there was no refill of liquid hand soap in the bathroom. Also, paper towels were completely missing—had to dry my hands on the thin toilet paper, which was a bit awkward. Still, these are minor issues in an otherwise excellent experience. If you’re looking to explore Stockholm’s historic old town without breaking the bank, this hostel is definitely worth considering.

There are even two supermarkets right near the station for quick grocery runs. The property operates fully self-service: we received digital access codes for both the building and the apartment a day or two before arrival, and everything was smooth sailing. Any questions via email were answered promptly. We extended checkout by two hours (extra 200 SEK) through the website—simple and hassle-free. Luggage storage was also available upon request via email. The only downside? It’s a bit far from the city center—expect about 30 minutes or more by public transport. But honestly, when you factor in the room comfort, cleanliness, and value for money, it’s absolutely worth it. A great choice for travelers who want space, convenience, and independence.
