I absolutely loved my stay at Mándala Hotel Belén! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and having 24/7 service made the entire experience so much more convenient. The room layout was smart and spacious, making good use of every inch. What stood out most was the great value for money—this price point is hard to beat for a hotel with such quality amenities and location. I can't recommend Med la Palma Hotel enough! The place is spotlessly clean, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Even though the rooms are modest in size and the windows are on the smaller side, they're well-designed and perfectly functional. What really stands out is the incredible value for money—this hotel delivers a luxury experience without the luxury price tag. Right across the street is the metro station, making it super easy to explore downtown Medellín. This is an excellent choice for accommodation! Located just a short walk from the stadium, it's incredibly convenient for events and local exploration. The location offers great access to public transport and nearby dining options. Overall, the value for money is outstanding—highly recommend for anyone visiting Medellín.

Our stay at Hotel Poma Rosa was generally positive despite a minor check-in issue that was quickly resolved by the front desk staff. The hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to public transportation and plenty of dining options nearby—great for exploring the local scene. Rooms were clean and well-organized, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. The only downside was breakfast, which was quite basic with very limited choices—more like a simple snack than a proper meal. That said, considering the price point, it was still a good value for money. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in Medellín with a central location and a relaxed vibe, this hotel is worth considering. Just be prepared for a no-frills breakfast and plan to eat out, which actually works in its favor given how many restaurants are within walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of the month for a two-day business trip, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown Medellín, with easy access to public transit and plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The building itself feels modern and well-maintained, with clean common areas and thoughtfully designed rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay—they went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. I was in room 202, which faces the street, and it's definitely one of the best options. The view is fantastic, especially during sunset when the city lights come on. Plus, the room had excellent soundproofing, so no noise from the busy street disturbed my rest. Everything about this stay felt seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.

I booked this hotel after seeing good ratings on a platform, so I figured it’d be worth a try. I called directly and was told to come straight to the property—Juan-Pablo, the man who claims to be Italian, said he’d let me pick my room in person. When I arrived, I was shocked: the entire hotel was empty, and I was the only guest. He showed me a few rooms and strongly recommended one facing the street, saying it was quiet at night—completely false. For three nights, I was kept awake by constant traffic and motorcycle noise. No toilet paper or shower towels were provided—I had to call him multiple times just to get basic supplies. The room wasn’t clean at all—the toilet bowl looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years, and there was a toothpick on the carpet, which seemed covered in dust from decades ago. The bed was actually comfortable, so no complaints there. But the price? Big surprise. I was quoted 660,000 COP over the phone, but when I arrived, it was 731,000 COP. He insisted on cash payment and promised a discount, which I declined. I ended up paying by card—thankfully, because that’s what saved me. Breakfast the next morning was extremely minimal. On the second evening, I returned to find the room still uncleaned. I thought I’d ask the housekeeper to tidy it up the next day. Big mistake. The following morning, the hotel was completely deserted—no Juan-Pablo, no staff. I yelled his name repeatedly with no response. Since no one was around to help, I had to leave again for dinner. Later that night, I finally found a woman at the front desk and gave her a full, angry complaint. She handed me the owner’s email—but guess what? The room still wasn’t cleaned for the second night. In short, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely avoid this place. Even the guest toiletry bag they left out was expired. 😅
