The breakfast spread was impressive—plenty of variety and high quality, perfect for starting the day right. The only minor downside is the hotel's distance from the nearest subway station, about a 10-12 minute walk. However, there are always taxis available right outside the entrance, making transportation to the city center convenient. With great service, a well-located position near major attractions, and a welcoming atmosphere, this hotel offers outstanding value. I’d definitely book here again.

Location-wise, it’s ideal—just a short walk or quick transit ride away from major attractions, exhibition centers, and the city center. There’s also a large shopping complex nearby, so everything you need is within reach. Getting to and from the airport was smooth and convenient, and the overall transport links make exploring Munich effortless. This hotel offers great value and a welcoming atmosphere—I’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and came with all the essentials you’d want. After staying here for eight nights, my partner and I really appreciated having access to the laundry facilities—a small but incredibly helpful touch. The staff were friendly and responsive, even communicating via WhatsApp, which made asking questions or getting recommendations super convenient. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This isn’t just a great location—it’s a genuinely excellent stay from start to finish. A solid 10/10 without hesitation.

Hotel Südstern is perfectly located for both public transit and those traveling by car. The nearby subway station makes getting around Munich a breeze, and if you're driving, the hotel offers free underground parking—such a convenient bonus. The rooms are modest in size but well-designed and fully equipped with everything you’d need. Everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. We truly felt at home. The comfort of the bed, quiet ambiance, and overall cleanliness made it an enjoyable experience. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Munich—highly recommend for travelers who value convenience, cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere.
Creo Munich City
We stayed at the hotel with my family, and while we were happy with the overall value for money, there was one disappointment: I booked for two adults and a 4-year-old child, expecting an extra bed (as the reservation clearly mentioned free accommodation for kids), but instead we were given just a double bed. That said, the location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk to the subway station, making it super easy to get around Munich or head into the city center. Driving here is also straightforward. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and provide clear directions. The room itself is basic, which works fine if you’re just using it to sleep and freshen up—no complaints there. However, a few improvements would make a big difference: the sheets were worn out, with visible holes, and the bathroom mats had hair and debris. The pillows are soft and bulky (not everyone’s taste), but the pillowcases were stained and not very clean—something to keep in mind when resting your face. The carpet throughout the room was heavily soiled and even spotted small insects at times. Also, no fridge in the room—so I had to leave my child’s milk by the window to keep it cool (luckily it wasn’t too hot). Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons: great location, fair pricing, and fantastic staff. But cleanliness and general wear-and-tear need serious attention. Other amenities like breakfast and parking weren’t used, so I can’t comment on them.
HI Munich Park Youth Hostel
We stayed at HI Munich Park Youth Hostel for just two nights during a quick transit stop. While it’s perfectly fine for a 4-5 night stay, it might feel a bit limiting if you’re planning to stay longer. That said, even though I’ve seen more modern hostels before, this one is still a solid option. The rooms are small and a bit dated, but clean and functional—especially since each room has its own private shower and toilet. There’s usually someone at reception, which is helpful for check-in or questions. Staff were consistently polite, though occasionally seemed a little disengaged. The location is great if you don’t want to be right in the city center—just a short walk from the Isar River, Tierpark (zoo), several cozy beer gardens, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast buffet was generous in variety, but not as fresh or high-quality as other hostels we’ve stayed at. Unfortunately, the rolls were dry on both mornings—probably too old. Still, the hostel offers plenty of free activities: table football, table tennis, board games, and common areas to hang out. It’s a good mix of convenience, affordability, and social atmosphere—ideal for travelers looking for a relaxed base without overspending.
Oktoberfest On A Budget Camping
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made a positive impression. My only concern was the loud music that continued until 2 or 3 AM, which did affect my sleep quality. However, aside from that minor issue, everything else was great. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, perfect for experiencing the Oktoberfest vibe without breaking the bank. The location is convenient for public transport, making it easy to explore Munich. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a fun, budget-friendly stay with a festive touch.
Ibis Muenchen City Arnulfpark
Staying at Ibis Muenchen City Arnulfpark was a fantastic experience. The hotel is just a short walk from the train station, and the nearby tram stop makes getting around Munich super convenient. The room was clean, bright, and cozy—everything you'd expect from a well-maintained ibis property. The mattress was comfortable enough to provide a deep, restful sleep, even after long days of walking over 20,000 steps. Waking up refreshed each morning made exploring the city even more enjoyable. One of my favorite things was looking out the window and seeing kids running and playing near the school right behind the hotel—such a joyful, lively atmosphere. That said, if your booking doesn’t include breakfast, be sure to bring some snacks or plan ahead. There aren’t many dining options nearby, especially on weekends when many places are closed. Without a little preparation, you might find yourself hungry. Overall, though, this is a great value for money choice in central Munich—perfect for travelers who prioritize location, comfort, and a quiet, welcoming vibe.
