The neighborhood feels safe and lively, which made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. All the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and stylishly designed—great value for money. The only minor note is that the internet speed could be faster, especially if you're working remotely or streaming. Also, guests on the top floors might notice a bit of ambient music seeping through at night, but given the area’s vibrant atmosphere, it’s understandable and not really bothersome. Overall, this is a fantastic choice if you want comfort, convenience, and a true local vibe in Medellín.

I've stayed here before, but this visit was truly outstanding! The new management has completely transformed the hotel—everything feels upgraded. The breakfast is now much better, with a wider variety and improved quality. The beds and mattresses are incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. Staff are friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the stay. The room was spotlessly clean, with no detail overlooked. Located just steps from the metro, getting around Medellín is super easy. This place offers excellent value and I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Hotel Confort Obelisk was one of the worst experiences I've had in Medellín. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and the cleanliness was absolutely terrible—rooms were filthy, with stained linens and visible dust everywhere. The blankets were covered in hair, and the overall condition made it feel like a complete waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, even if you're just passing through. Avoid at all costs.
