This was my first stay at this hotel, and I have to say it exceeded all my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious—definitely a suite—and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented with a great variety of options. While the location is a bit far from the airport, it’s still manageable with a short ride or public transit. Overall, this is by far the most comfortable five-star experience I’ve had in Bogotá. Highly recommend for anyone looking for luxury and comfort in the city.
North House Hostel

However, there are a few drawbacks: no kitchen facilities, which limits self-catering options, and only one shared bathroom for the entire ground floor—this can get crowded during peak times. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stopover with good access to food and transport. Just keep in mind the lack of privacy and basic amenities if you're expecting more comfort.

We stayed at Chapinorte Bogota on three separate occasions in December 2012 and January 2013, and it quickly became like a second home to us. Antonio, the owner, is truly exceptional—always attentive, genuinely warm, and such a fun person to chat with. His English is excellent, making communication effortless. We stayed in a private double room with an en-suite bathroom, first on the upper floor, then on the lower level for our next two visits—both were comfortable and peaceful. The hostel is located within a quiet residential building complex, offering a safe and welcoming atmosphere. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, plus thoughtful extras like a local info desk and a book exchange corner. If you're looking to explore Bogotá while still enjoying a cozy, secure place to rest, this is exactly the kind of spot you need. We can’t recommend it highly enough. And one little highlight we almost forgot: breakfast delivered right to our room once—pure luxury! Antonio, we’ve yet to find another place that matches the charm and care you offer.
