This has been by far the best Hilton Curio Collection hotel I've stayed at in Bogotá—truly exceptional. The property is located in a secure zone, and right next to a small park that makes evening walks feel safe and peaceful. There are several dining options nearby, including McDonald's and a seafood restaurant (a bit pricey but worth it for the quality). The room itself was excellent—especially the balcony, which is perfect for smokers or anyone wanting a quiet spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The only minor downside was the limited supply of bottled water and the lack of an electric kettle—though there’s free coffee and water available in the lobby, so it wasn’t a big issue. The business area even has its own balcony, making it ideal for work or casual meetings. Breakfast was generous and varied, with plenty of fresh options. Everything about this stay felt premium, and the location is incredibly convenient for getting around via Uber. If you're looking for a top-tier experience in Bogotá, this one truly stands out. I’ll definitely be returning.

I stayed just one night at North House Hostel in Bogotá, and while my time there was brief, the experience was generally positive. The location is also excellent; it's in a neighborhood full of cheap and tasty local eateries, making dining easy and wallet-friendly. Room cleanliness was acceptable for a hostel setting. However, there are a few drawbacks: no kitchen facilities, which limits self-catering options, and only one shared bathroom for the entire ground floor—this can get crowded during peak times. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stopover with good access to food and transport. Just keep in mind the lack of privacy and basic amenities if you're expecting more comfort.

We stayed at Chapinorte Bogota on three separate occasions in December 2012 and January 2013, and it quickly became like a second home to us. Antonio, the owner, is truly exceptional—always attentive, genuinely warm, and such a fun person to chat with. His English is excellent, making communication effortless. We stayed in a private double room with an en-suite bathroom, first on the upper floor, then on the lower level for our next two visits—both were comfortable and peaceful. The hostel is located within a quiet residential building complex, offering a safe and welcoming atmosphere. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, plus thoughtful extras like a local info desk and a book exchange corner. If you're looking to explore Bogotá while still enjoying a cozy, secure place to rest, this is exactly the kind of spot you need. We can’t recommend it highly enough. And one little highlight we almost forgot: breakfast delivered right to our room once—pure luxury! Antonio, we’ve yet to find another place that matches the charm and care you offer.
