The Retreat
Our stay at The Retreat was brief but incredibly satisfying. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable—perfect for a good night's rest. The location is ideal, just a short commute to the Taj Mahal, making sightseeing hassle-free. What truly stood out was the staff, especially the manager. When we struggled to book train tickets, he kindly offered to assist using his own app—literally saving us from a major travel headache. His professionalism and genuine care made a lasting impression. For the quality of service, comfort, and value, this hotel is highly recommended.
Hotel Amar
The Hotel Amar offers a clean and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Our room, recently renovated, was well-equipped with a kettle, two mugs, and two glasses—everything was spotless, including the bedding and towels. While the pool was temporarily closed during our stay, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying. It’s a great option for a comfortable overnight stay, especially considering the value. A solid choice if you're visiting Agra.
Seven Hills Tower
Staying at Seven Hills Tower was a wonderful experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, and surrounded by great local eateries and shops. The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere with clean, well-maintained rooms and friendly staff who go out of their way to help. I appreciated the warm hospitality and quick response to any request. The only minor issue was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, but it didn’t detract much from the stay. Considering the comfort, service, and value, this place is definitely worth recommending.
Hotel Bhoomivilas
I was really grateful for the warm welcome and friendly staff during my stay at Hotel Bhoomivilas, but unfortunately, my overall experience fell far short of expectations. The room rates were quite high—comparable to a 3-star hotel—but what I saw didn’t match that standard. I was told there was a rooftop swimming pool, but when I arrived, it was completely out of order, and the rooftop area itself looked like an old dumping ground, poorly maintained and uninviting. Room service was also disappointing; most of the time, my calls went unanswered, so I had to go down to reception every time I needed something. Hot water in the shower was inconsistent, making for an uncomfortable experience. The dining area felt run-down, and the menu prices were shockingly high—almost on par with five-star hotels. That’s a huge gap between what you’re paying and what you actually get. I spent four nights here after visiting two other hotels in Jaipur and Ajmer, both of which offered far better service and value—even though they were significantly cheaper. Given how much more I paid here compared to those stays, I truly expected a higher standard. Unfortunately, this experience was underwhelming, especially considering the price point. Not recommended if you're looking for comfort, quality, or good value.
Taj Inn Hotel
Walking into the room, we were greeted by a live scorpion on the bed—definitely not what we expected! Thankfully, the staff reacted quickly and handled the situation calmly and professionally. Compared to another hotel in Jaipur we booked for the same price, this place truly stands out in every way. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience—maybe even a little adrenaline rush—this is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. Their dedication to guest comfort and safety made a lasting impression. A huge thank you to everyone who made our trip so special.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly huge—felt more like a luxury spa than a hotel bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and well-rounded, offering a great variety to start the day right. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and having 24-hour front desk service made everything so convenient. We even got to choose our room upon check-in, which added a personal touch. Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations—cleanliness, comfort, service, and value for money. No complaints at all; it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend and stay here again without hesitation.

Hotel Alleviate is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Agra. It's perfectly located—just a short walk from the Taj Mahal and close to the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions without spending too much time on transportation. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. With such great value and convenience, this hotel stands out as one of the top picks in the area. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet central base in Agra.
Bhoomi Residency
We booked this hotel through a platform for a family stay over Christmas, expecting amenities like a rooftop bar, swimming pool, and on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, none of these were operational during our visit. The staff were polite but seemed genuinely surprised to have guests arrive—almost as if they weren’t expecting any bookings. Once inside the room, we immediately noticed the door lock didn’t work properly, making it impossible to secure the room. There was no safe in the room, and the temperature was freezing despite the thermostat being set. Pillows were torn and looked unclean, and the overall cleanliness gave the impression that the room desperately needed a deep clean. The window overlooked an ongoing construction site, with thick mud stains visible from the outside. In the second room, exposed wiring was present where the light switch should be—meaning lights could only be controlled from outside the room. Inside, there was a significant amount of black mold growing along the walls. To make matters worse, all the promotional photos clearly did not reflect reality—the property appeared to still be under construction. After spending just 45 minutes at the hotel, we decided to transfer to another accommodation. The only reason this gets one star is due to the staff’s courteous attitude. We’ve requested a full refund, as the experience fell drastically short of expectations.

However, the room itself felt outdated, and there was a lingering odor that suggested it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or aired out in a while. The linens looked worn, and the cleanliness didn’t meet expectations. Still, considering the price point, it offers decent value if you’re on a budget and don’t mind basic amenities. For travelers prioritizing proximity to the Taj Mahal over luxury, this could be a solid option—but I’d definitely recommend upgrading the room’s hygiene and maintenance for future guests.

From the moment we stepped in, the cleanliness was impressive: rooms were spotless, with fresh linens and no dust, stains, or lingering odors. Bathrooms were immaculately sanitized, with clean towels, quality toiletries, and excellent drainage. Common areas—including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and dining spaces—were kept tidy throughout our stay. The staff went above and beyond: polite, professional, and incredibly responsive. Whether it was checking in, ordering room service, or asking for local recommendations, they were prompt, helpful, and genuinely warm. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient, and housekeeping respected our privacy while maintaining consistent cleaning schedules. All amenities, including Wi-Fi and dining facilities, were well-maintained and fully functional. Any minor concerns were resolved swiftly and courteously. This hotel is perfect for couples, families, solo travelers, or groups looking for exceptional hospitality without compromise. I highly recommend staying here—it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience you’ll remember.

I made a last-minute booking in the evening and scored a great deal for ₹1,600 double occupancy with breakfast—definitely a smart choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a neat and tidy bathroom. It's located just a short distance from the Taj Mahal, making it super convenient for exploring the city. I appreciated the ease of access and the value for money. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Agra.
