Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just steps from metro stations and right in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant Plateau district. Walking to restaurants, shops, and attractions was effortless. The only thing to keep in mind is the narrow, steep staircase leading up to the unit—be prepared if you're carrying heavy luggage. Overall, this is a great option for travelers who value convenience, style, and a central spot without breaking the bank.

The stay was underwhelming overall. The rooms were extremely small and overcrowded with outdated furniture, making the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. One room had no window at all—completely dark and oppressive. The bathroom was tiny, with a sink that seemed more like a basic washbasin than a proper vanity. For five guests, there were only three glasses in the kitchen—definitely not enough for everyone. We also noticed the front door handle was held together with excessive duct tape, and the kitchen window blind was broken. While the location is convenient and close to transit, these issues reflect poor maintenance and management. The price didn’t justify the condition, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The check-in process was extremely frustrating, and I'd strongly advise taking the negative reviews seriously before booking. We paid a $500 security deposit upon arrival, which has not been refunded after two months of follow-up emails. Our first response acknowledged it as an oversight, but since then, all further messages have gone unanswered. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable—especially for such a significant amount. This experience has left us deeply disappointed, and we can't recommend staying here if you value transparency and customer service.
