Staying at Far East Village Hotel Yokohama was an absolute highlight of our trip to the city. The 8.2 rating truly reflects the experience—this place is a standout choice for travelers looking for great value and convenience. Located just a 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho Station (only 400 meters away), getting around is effortless. Whether you're heading to Minato Mirai 21, the historic Red Brick Warehouses, or hopping on a train to Tokyo, everything is super accessible. The neighborhood is very walkable too—there’s a convenience store nearby for quick snacks or essentials, and within a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find plenty of restaurants offering everything from local street food to more upscale dining. Yokohama Mandarin Hotel

The Yokohama Mandarin Hotel is just a short walk from the station, tucked away on a quiet side street that requires climbing a small hill—no hassle at all. The neighborhood has a charming, local vibe, and the nearby Noma Lane is actually quite famous for its quaint atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the space was absolutely spacious—especially the bathroom, which felt like a luxury retreat. The hotel has that classic 2000s style—simple, clean, and full of character—and honestly, I really appreciate that old-school elegance. It’s not flashy, but it feels authentic and cozy. Perfect for travelers who value comfort and charm over modern gimmicks. Would definitely stay here again.

The Square Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai

I was really looking forward to staying in a high-floor sea-facing room since the hotel advertised 'guaranteed sea view from a high floor,' but I ended up on the 12th floor out of 20. While it wasn't as high as I expected, it still offered a pleasant view of the port and city lights, especially at night. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had good natural light. What stood out was the convenient location—just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to explore central Yokohama and beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, the experience was solid. Though the floor level didn’t fully match the promise, the value for money and the location made up for it. I’d definitely consider booking again if I’m back in Yokohama.

Chisun Hotel Yokohama Isezakicho

The hotel has seen a few years, but it's surprisingly spacious with a large bed that makes for a comfortable stay. It's a real gem for fans of the Yakuza series—definitely a must-visit if you're on a pilgrimage to iconic locations. While it's not right in the heart of the main attractions, it's just steps from a subway station and only 4–5 stops from Yokohama Station. A short taxi ride to Chinatown costs around ¥1,000, making it very convenient without being too far from the action. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for money and an excellent base for exploring the city.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, always with a smile—even though most services are self-service, the process is smooth and efficient. No long waits, no confusion. Gran Customa Isezakicho

Staying at Gran Customa Isezakicho in Yokohama was a fantastic experience! The hotel offers great amenities, especially the women-only large bathhouse—so relaxing and spa-like, perfect for unwinding after a long day. There’s also an impressive collection of Japanese manga right in the lobby and near the rooms, which is a big plus for fans of anime and manga culture. I particularly enjoyed the authentic Japanese curry rice served at the on-site restaurant—it was rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Most guests were local Japanese visitors, but that didn’t affect the vibe at all; it felt cozy and genuine. The location is super convenient—just a short walk or quick subway ride to central Yokohama. If you’re looking for a comfortable, culturally immersive stay with great value, this is definitely worth considering. I’d happily book here again.

There are plenty of nearby essentials like a convenience store and McDonald’s, so you’re never far from a quick bite or daily needs. The hotel offers a parking lot with special rates for guests—great for those driving in. Navios Yokohama

Staying at Navios Yokohama was a fantastic experience overall. The room size was just right—not too small, not too big—offering a comfortable and well-proportioned space. Cleanliness stood out; every corner felt fresh and meticulously maintained, which made the stay feel very welcoming. One of the biggest perks? Right across the street is a shopping mall and a convenience store, so grabbing snacks or essentials was super easy without needing to go far. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was delicious—especially the Japanese-style set meal with fresh ingredients—but it did repeat daily, so variety could be improved. Still, the quality more than made up for it. With great location, clean rooms, and excellent service, this hotel offers real value. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Yokohama.
