Toyoko Inn Yokohama Kannai

I absolutely loved staying at Toyoko Inn Yokohama Kannai—this place truly exceeded my expectations. The room had a thoughtful touch with a large mirror on the table, perfect for getting ready while sitting comfortably. It was such a small but practical detail that made a big difference. Plus, it's just a 10-minute walk to Chinatown, where you can enjoy amazing local food and explore the vibrant atmosphere. There are also plenty of cozy izakayas nearby—great for dinner or drinks after a long day. The location is super convenient, especially if you're exploring the city without a car. Yokohama Mandarin Hotel

The Yokohama Mandarin Hotel is just a short walk from the station, tucked away on a quiet side street that requires climbing a small hill—no hassle at all. The neighborhood has a charming, local vibe, and the nearby Noma Lane is actually quite famous for its quaint atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the space was absolutely spacious—especially the bathroom, which felt like a luxury retreat. The hotel has that classic 2000s style—simple, clean, and full of character—and honestly, I really appreciate that old-school elegance. It’s not flashy, but it feels authentic and cozy. Perfect for travelers who value comfort and charm over modern gimmicks. Would definitely stay here again.

The Square Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai

I was really looking forward to staying in a high-floor sea-facing room since the hotel advertised 'guaranteed sea view from a high floor,' but I ended up on the 12th floor out of 20. While it wasn't as high as I expected, it still offered a pleasant view of the port and city lights, especially at night. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had good natural light. What stood out was the convenient location—just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to explore central Yokohama and beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, the experience was solid. Though the floor level didn’t fully match the promise, the value for money and the location made up for it. I’d definitely consider booking again if I’m back in Yokohama.

Chisun Hotel Yokohama Isezakicho

The hotel has seen a few years, but it's surprisingly spacious with a large bed that makes for a comfortable stay. It's a real gem for fans of the Yakuza series—definitely a must-visit if you're on a pilgrimage to iconic locations. While it's not right in the heart of the main attractions, it's just steps from a subway station and only 4–5 stops from Yokohama Station. A short taxi ride to Chinatown costs around ¥1,000, making it very convenient without being too far from the action. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for money and an excellent base for exploring the city.

Everything was well-maintained, from the bedding to the bathroom fixtures, and the cleanliness stood out as a major plus. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. I loved how easy it was to get around by train or on foot. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, always with a smile—even though most services are self-service, the process is smooth and efficient. No long waits, no confusion. Gran Customa Isezakicho

Staying at Gran Customa Isezakicho in Yokohama was a fantastic experience! The hotel offers great amenities, especially the women-only large bathhouse—so relaxing and spa-like, perfect for unwinding after a long day. There’s also an impressive collection of Japanese manga right in the lobby and near the rooms, which is a big plus for fans of anime and manga culture. I particularly enjoyed the authentic Japanese curry rice served at the on-site restaurant—it was rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Most guests were local Japanese visitors, but that didn’t affect the vibe at all; it felt cozy and genuine. The location is super convenient—just a short walk or quick subway ride to central Yokohama. If you’re looking for a comfortable, culturally immersive stay with great value, this is definitely worth considering. I’d happily book here again.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier

Staying at Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier was an absolute delight. The location is fantastic—just a 10-minute walk to either Minato Mirai Station or Sakuragi-cho Station, making it super convenient for getting around the city and heading to the airport. There are plenty of nearby essentials like a convenience store and McDonald’s, so you’re never far from a quick bite or daily needs. The hotel offers a parking lot with special rates for guests—great for those driving in. I especially loved the open-air area on the lobby level, where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views of Yokohama’s skyline. Bath amenities are conveniently located here too, allowing easy access throughout your stay. My room came with a washer-dryer combo (both dry and wet), plus laundry detergent provided—such a thoughtful touch! There’s also a microwave, a Refa hairdryer, a coffee table, and two chairs—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The best part? The view from the room includes Fuji Mountain on clear days.
