Staying at Yuju Service Apartment near the U.S. Embassy in Beijing was a great choice for my trip. The location is excellent—just a 10-15 minute walk from the embassy and close enough to a subway station, which is ideal considering how big Beijing is. The apartment itself has some older furnishings, but all the essentials are there: kitchenette, bedding, bathroom, and working appliances. Having a key card made access super convenient. One thing to note: you need to wait for the host to personally meet you upon arrival—security won’t let you in otherwise. It’s a bit of a hassle if you’re arriving late, so plan ahead. Cleanliness was good overall—nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing concerning either. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. For a budget-friendly option with solid location and decent service, this place is definitely worth considering, especially if you're working or visiting the embassy area.
