Staying at San Ranieri Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome right from check-in. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with thoughtful presentation and great flavor, though the prices were slightly on the higher side. While the hotel isn’t right next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it’s only a short ride away, and the hotel offered convenient car booking assistance, which made getting around effortless. Overall, the combination of comfort, service, and location makes this a top-tier choice in Pisa. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

This trip across four cities in Italy, and Hotel Villa Kinzica in Pisa turned out to be my absolute favorite stay. The location is easy to find, right near the train station with great access to downtown and surrounding areas. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained—everything you'd want for a relaxing getaway. But what really stood out was the owner: incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic. He recommended a little seaside town called Viareggio, which I visited on a whim—and wow, it was worth every minute. The sunsets were breathtaking, the streets charming, and the vibe so peaceful. That small recommendation completely elevated my entire trip. Thanks to this amazing experience, my journey through Tuscany felt more meaningful and memorable. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic Italian stay with heart, this place is a must-visit.

I absolutely loved staying here! The apartment was charming—slightly dated but that actually added to the cozy, homey vibe you get when visiting Italy. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially for us Irish folks braving temperatures over 28°C. There’s a vending machine right on-site for bottled water if you prefer not to drink tap water, and Penny supermarket is literally just steps away—super convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you’d need, so we didn’t have to waste time searching for breakfast essentials. Plus, there’s a lovely little café right next door—perfect for a morning coffee or quick bite. The shutters are excellent at keeping out heat and light, making the room cool and comfortable. The shower might be small, but the water pressure is powerful and refreshing—plus, fresh towels and hotel-quality shampoo and body wash were provided. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And let’s not forget the two stunning aquariums inside—their presence adds such a peaceful touch. Bonus points: I accidentally left my earphones behind, and instead of just waiting for me to notice, they contacted me and even came to find me in the city after we’d checked out! I was genuinely touched—I can’t sleep without them! Their hospitality went above and beyond, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

Absolutely central and incredibly convenient! From B&B Colombo, you can reach the city center in just minutes by foot or public transit, and even the airport is a manageable 20-minute walk—perfect for early flights. The place is spotless, well-organized, and warmly welcoming. Gigi and Flavia go above and beyond with their hospitality—friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. We traveled with kids and found everything we needed within walking distance: grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, bars, train station, and LAM bus stops—all right at your doorstep. It’s rare to find such a thoughtfully located, clean, and friendly B&B in such a vibrant part of Pisa. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or families. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and very convenient for exploring the city center. The view from the room is fantastic, and the area is full of charm. However, the service was a major letdown. There was no front desk staff during check-in, and calls went unanswered for hours—after nearly 30 attempts and a wait of about four hours, someone finally responded. It’s frustrating to arrive at a hotel expecting a smooth experience and be left hanging. Despite the excellent location and great views, the lack of basic hospitality really affects the overall impression. Hope they can improve communication and guest support in the future.

We stayed at Holiday Pisa Gare from July 25 to 30 as a family of four, including our friends and a young child. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the train station, making it super easy to get around by foot or public transit. The staff were welcoming and gave us a quick tour with clear explanations. Bathrooms and toilets are shared in common areas, which some guests might find inconvenient, but the morning cleaning team does a solid job keeping things tidy. It’s expected that guests help maintain cleanliness after use—no big issue for us. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, especially when sharing the space with other travelers. There’s also the option to take your meal back to your room if you prefer more privacy. The young woman working breakfast was kind and helpful throughout. Our room was functional and comfortable: a good-sized bed, a fold-out sofa for the kid, plus a TV and desk. The only downside during summer was the lack of air conditioning—closing windows didn’t help much with street noise. But since we left early and returned late every day, and our main goal was just a clean, quiet place to sleep and freshen up, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, we found this stay very budget-friendly and well worth it. If we ever return to Pisa, we’d definitely choose this place again—especially for value without sacrificing basic comfort.
