While gear rental (like a life vest for $6) is extra, it’s well worth it—the underwater views are picture-perfect, even if the fish aren’t super abundant. The resort itself feels like a lush tropical garden, with beautifully layered greenery, winding pathways, serene pools, and scenic beach decks. Every corner is photogenic—perfect for capturing those dreamy vacation moments. Overall, this place nails every aspect of a luxury getaway: top-tier service, breathtaking surroundings, and a peaceful, immersive atmosphere. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a true retreat. One of the best stays I’ve had in Egypt, and definitely the most memorable part of my trip.

The à la carte restaurants offer delicious food in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was spotless and incredibly comfortable. As a family with young kids, we were thrilled by the wide range of water slides and the excellent kids’ club. My daughter turned 7 during our visit, and the team went above and beyond to organize a surprise birthday celebration—complete with decorations, cake, and fun activities. It made her day unforgettable. The attention to detail, the serene vibe, and the overall quality make this place truly special. I’ve stayed at many resorts around the world, but this one stands out as a top-tier experience. Without hesitation, I’d give it a perfect 10/10 and absolutely recommend it. Staying at Sheraton Sharm Resort was a highlight of our trip to Sharm El Sheikh. The ocean-view room was absolutely stunning—waking up to the sunrise through the window was magical and exactly why we chose this hotel. The location is peaceful and quiet, with no nearby shops or commercial areas, so if you don’t book the full board package, you’ll need to pay for meals at the on-site restaurant. That said, it’s still convenient and gives you flexibility in dining choices. Transportation options are limited—while the hotel can arrange taxis or shuttle services, prices are quite high. And unfortunately, there’s no Uber available anywhere in Sharm El Sheikh, making getting around expensive and less convenient. The beach is serene and uncrowded, perfect for relaxing, but the coral reefs aren’t as vibrant as those near dedicated dive shops. We took a day trip to one of those spots, and wow—the energy, crowds, and variety of restaurants were much more lively and affordable. Regarding cleanliness, the staff did a great job overall. I especially loved the little towel flower left on the bed the second day! However, I noticed a small bump under the sheets, which bothered me a bit since I’m quite particular about bedding comfort. Also, the duvet insert was just sandwiched between two covers instead of being enclosed properly—during the night, it shifted out of place, leaving me cold and having to cover up with an extra blanket. Still, hygiene standards were excellent across the board.

A major plus: free shuttle service to other Rixos hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, including Ricos Premium Seagate, which made exploring nearby options easy. The hotel also arranged a private driver, adding extra convenience. Having stayed at several Rixos properties before, this one stood out as the best in terms of service. Special thanks go to Mr. Hanna Adxl, Mehmet Bülbül, Chef Mehmet, Ekrem, and the front desk team—especially the night-shift staff who were always present and welcoming. Their dedication made our stay unforgettable.

The pool area is huge, and the resort grounds are expansive, so we found ourselves calling for the electric cart whenever we needed to move around—a thoughtful touch that made navigating the property so much easier. Located just steps from the beach with a serene atmosphere, this place offers incredible value. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it.

This was our first trip to Egypt, and we couldn’t have picked a better place than Sun Rise. The dining experience was exceptional—diverse and delicious options every meal, with new dishes always waiting to be discovered. Seafood was a highlight, and despite some online mentions about limited tableware, we never experienced any shortages during our entire stay. Staff cleared tables instantly, even the used napkins vanished before they could land on the floor. Traveling with two kids (ages 3 and 7), we were thrilled that all meals were well-suited for them—no issues at all. We dined at multiple Al-Kart restaurants each evening, and honestly, it’s hard to pick just one favorite because every single one was fantastic—creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Special shoutout to a tall, friendly waiter (we didn’t catch his name!) who went above and beyond: quick service, helpful suggestions, and sweet little surprises like flowers or balloons for our daughter. The level of personal care stood out—even more than what we’ve seen in top-tier resorts across Turkey. Our accommodation was in the Deluxe Swim-Up suite at Complex 9—pure paradise! Direct access to our own private pool meant we spent most of the day cooling off in the sun. Daily room cleaning was impeccable, and Ahmed—the housekeeper—was absolutely incredible. He’d fold towels into stunning shapes, which totally blew us away. The resort grounds were lush and green, with a great water park that had enough slides for a full day of fun. The kids’ club offered plenty for both younger and older children. The beach? Unforgettable. We swam right off the shore and even went snorkeling near the reef—saw colorful fish, sea turtles, and beautiful coral formations. There’s a short, easy walkway leading into deeper water, making exploration safe and convenient. Entertainment was outstanding—nightly disco parties, fire shows, and even a visit to another hotel for a lively carnival and dance performance that left us stunned. A big thank you to the team, especially Sabrina—we’ll never forget your energy and warmth. Overall, this vacation scored 100/10. We’re already planning to return. Thank you, Sun Rise, for such a magical getaway!

The dining experience was exceptional, with a diverse open buffet under the expert supervision of Chef Ahmed Mugheth—every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I particularly enjoyed the creative cocktails crafted by Rami and Assad, which added a fun touch to my evenings. For those who love activity, the aqua aerobics sessions led by Yousef and Ahmed were energetic and full of joy. And diving with Islam was truly magical—the underwater world of the Red Sea is vibrant and mesmerizing. Every detail, from staff attentiveness to the quality of service, showed how much care goes into making guests happy. This hotel stands out for its charm, professionalism, and attention to detail. I’m already planning my return trip!
