The hotel has a vintage feel with beautifully landscaped gardens and an old-world charm—ideal if you appreciate historic properties. That said, be prepared for smaller rooms with slightly outdated furnishings and equipment. But that’s part of its character! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding—great variety including both Asian and European options. Fresh breads, pastries, waffles, cheeses—all delicious and well-prepared. Dining on the terrace by the pool under shady trees made it even more enjoyable. The swimming pools are clean, with both large and small options, perfect for relaxing on a lounger. Location-wise, it’s central and very convenient for reaching major attractions. A popular shopping mall is just a 10-minute taxi ride away. While nearby malls aren’t particularly modern or exciting, the hotel’s surroundings are peaceful and authentic, giving you a real sense of old-school Cebu. Staff are incredibly courteous—greeted us with a welcome drink and available 24/7. Throughout our stay, everything ran smoothly, which is rare in Philippine hotels where minor issues and communication gaps often pop up. Here, none of that happened. For a short 2-3 day visit, this hotel offers exceptional value and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!
